The White House,店如其名,店内装潢以纯白风为主调,白色的吊灯、白色的餐桌、透明的座椅,简简单单的以植物及干花做装饰。餐牌内容以iPad显示,没有纸本menu,点了份量足够二人享用的Signature Menu ($988)。Starter可选两款,先来的Homemade Crab Cakes (自家制蟹饼),虽然蟹肉饼的卖相普通,也没什么摆盘可言,但内里可尝到一丝丝的蟹肉。Bone Marrow with Bread,牛骨髓充满油脂香,烤过的牛骨髓味道微微咸香。将骨髓精华伴面包一起吃,牛脂香而不腻,邪恶感稍微减退。如面包改为香脆多士,应该会更惹味。主菜同样可选两款,Tagliatelle with Sea Urchins (意大利蛋面配海胆刺身),面的份量不多,面层却铺满了一片片的海胆与三文鱼子。海胆与三文鱼子都好鲜味,惟面条的口感偏软稔。听老板分享,知道是有食客认为面条过硬,所以才煮得稔一些。可惜西餐不会像日式拉面一样可选喜好的软硬度。Australian M7 Rib-eye (澳洲M7和牛肉眼扒),需要另加$148,肉眼扒好大块,肉味浓,富肉汁又够软稔。可自行添加酱汁,不怕肉香被酱汁所掩盖。Apple Crumble Cheesecake (苹果金宝芝士蛋糕),苹果金宝吃过不少,但制成芝士蛋糕的食法却是第一次试。芝士蛋糕的面层脆脆,内馅夹杂香甜苹果蓉,苹果与芝士的味道很夹。Lemon Cheesecake (柠檬芝士蛋糕) 味道清新,甜度恰好,以两件美味的芝士蛋糕作结,感觉圆满。这次于平日晚上到店,店内没什么顾客,老板热情的与我们聊天,是小店才有的氛围。

同事话呢间好食,所以带周末带阿妈嚟试吓。因为有大玻璃对街,所以natural night 充分,环境舒适。餐厅标榜现代地中海菜。前菜试咗homemade crab cake,escargot,baked grapes 和 French quiche。以为baked grapes系甜品,但系原来系前菜,好特别。French quiche 系用咗三文鱼所以好香好好食。主菜叫咗red prawn linguine,lobster risotto 和 baked Turkish sea bass。Risotto 嘅饭煮到risotto饭应有嘅软硬适中。Baked Turkish sea bass 原来系全条,肉质水份充足,好鲜味,佩上土耳其乳酪酱系绝配。甜品试咗Russian honey cake 和 Turkish pistachio coffee (with baklava). Russian honey cake 上加了少少rum洒,真系唔同啲。Turkish pistachio coffee 冇传统Turkish coffee咁苦,值得一试。总结 - 食物和甜品都有水准。

最近经过炮台山,同朋友俾一间白雪雪嘅铺头吸引左入去。。。太有惊喜,忍唔住要写写食评。见到餐牌心大心细,唔知食乜好,老板知道我同朋友细食,介绍咗Pan-fried Norway Salmon Fillet with Provence Ratatouille 同 Dry Aged Rump Cap 俾我哋试吓。三文鱼比我想像中好食,一来够厚身,二来肉质好滑,唔会嚡口,连配菜都好好味,岩晒要减肥嘅我。一见到碟Dry Aged Rump Cap 上枱,心谂会唔会太红… 好似好生咁…食左一啖就俾佢征服咗… 好好味呀,同朋友一人一半,连配菜都唔放过。好有肉味,又唔会靭,酱汁配搭得好好,可以再 encore。食饱饱之后,见到隔离枱叫咗罐嘢饮,个罐好靓,问吓老板,原来设计系介绍佢系大澳嘅另一间铺,呢罐系 Passion Fruit Rosa。正,我最钟意饮酒,唔错!!!朋友就试左杯 Cardamon Turkish Coffee with Baklava,剩系见到套杯已经觉得好靓,土耳其嘅无咖啡因咖啡,再配搭埋都系来自土耳其嘅开心果酥,好吸引! 老板话饮完仲可以占卜㗎,下次我都要试吓。今次乱打乱撞,竟然试到间好嘢。食物质素高,下次想再试其他菜式,除左咖啡,仲有酒饮,正!!! 最重要系无限时,可以有一个地方同朋友慢慢吹水,倾到唔舍得走。

During a recent stroll through Fortress Hill, I stumbled upon The White House, a charming restaurant that caught my eye with its elegant decor and inviting food photographs displayed at the entrance. Intrigued, I decided to step inside for a meal.I ordered the Australian M7 Wagyu Ribeye Steak, cooked medium. The steak was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of juiciness and tenderness. The seasoning was well-balanced, enhancing the flavors of the meat without overpowering it. Each bite was a delightful experience, showcasing the quality of the steak itself.One of the highlights of my visit was the presence of a cute red-whiskered bulbul in the restaurant. This littie cutie added a unique touch to the atmosphere.Despite its appealing ambiance and delicious food, I noticed that the restaurant wasn't very busy during my visit. However, in conversation with the owner, I learned that they are genuinely passionate about their business and are committed to providing a great dining experience for their customers. The White House is a hidden gem in Fortress Hill, deserving of more recognition and support. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal—you won't be disappointed!

与旧同事相聚,我们都有选择障碍,因为餐牌菜式种类多,样样都好想食,好彩老板好好人,很详细地介绍每样菜式,据老板说当中很多食材都只有他们店家从外地进口,别的地方很难有机尝试。我们三个女仔各自叫了主菜,分别是土耳其海鲈鱼,前三文鱼,而我食阿根廷红虾意粉。吃住美食, 在舒适的气氛,下享受土耳其特式咖啡, 不知不觉间就4个钟。我忘了影自己杯咖啡😱 我set杯碟好靓㗎😍下次一定要和多些人来试食其他菜式!因为餐牌上有好多样菜式我都想试😋
