I went on Sunday night with my parents, we order (1) Pork set (2) Pork Curry Set (3) Oyster Set (4) Prawn Set.
To start off with the good points, the setting and renovation is very nice, I think the service is decent.
They allow us to book a table 24 hour in advance. The Prawn and Oyster Cutlet is quite good, but nearly everything else is poor.
You can see the 1st photo, this is the Pork from 2 different set we order. The one on the top is very fatty and has lots of tendon (根)... the one on the bottom is super dry and tough meat (超干). Both are bad!
You can see the 2nd photo this is the Rice. It is soggy, and wet (出水), and just not high quality well-cook Japanese style rice.
Usually I don't care about fruit, but you can conclude whether the kitchen is disciplined and good, by the quality of the watermelon they serve. Here, they also serve you the skin (see 3rd photo... 又根又皮).
Conclusion - If you have never been to Tonkixxx, then this one you can try (一试无防)
