Old Fashioned Fish Skin from Pulao $78
This dish is very rarely found in restaurants now and often only at old wonton noodle places. Can’t believe they have it here at this Singaporean/SEA restaurant so I had to try it.
The fish skin itself is bouncy, springy and super delicious. I couldn’t stop eating them as they are the perfect appetiser and snack. The sauce is slightly spicy, sour and savoury, so addictive and I highly recommend it if you like these cold SEA appetisers.
The portion is quite generous and the price is reasonable.

Seafood Jjampong from O.b.p $88
I have always wanted to try these at O.b.p but never ventured that far, super glad I got to try it at a much cheaper price here at the popup of Kin Food Halls at Central Market. Sadly, this cheap price is reflected in the quality.
Firstly, the broth is very spicy and intense, they definitely are not kidding with the spice. It is Korean-spicy with chilli and kimchi which is fermented and extra hot and not like the fresh chilli which straight up burns your mouth. This is a slow and powerful punch. The soup itself is very flavourful and not only spicy, with intense tomato flavour and they used beef stock too for extra richness and fat. I can tell because there were pieces of beef swimming around my bowl. I highly recommend this to anyone that likes spicy noodles, the only downside is that they gave very little and made the noodles stick together.
Speaking about the noodles, they taste like handmade ramen noodles, super springy and tender with a great bite to it. The broth clung to them surprisingly well so each mouthful was very flavourful.
The seafood though is very disappointing. There are two prawns, two mussels, two cuttlefish and two clams. The prawns still had the shells on and it was very bothersome eating that, it was also severely overcooked. The same goes for the mussels and clams which are small and tough. Fortunately, the cuttlefish is not tough and can be chewed and swallowed.
Overall, the price is not bad for this bowl because they gave quite a lot of noodles but you are definitely only eating this for the broth and noodles, not the below-par seafood. I suggest going to the actual O.b.p for the seafood as people say it is quite good.

推介 🙆🏻♀️
💬 Overall, nice food options here but the quality definitely does not compare to their original stores. Still, a nice chill place for casual meals with no service charge 😝 I also like ordering takeaway from Dough Bros or other nearby restaurants and eating them here.
