Got a redemption voucher for an afternoon tea set for 2 at this newly opened restaurant. When we tried to redeem it, we were told that there was no afternoon tea set and we could only choose a main course + 2 salad/side + 2 drinks + 1 bun...So we went for pork neck as mains, baked mushrooms and baked broccoli with cream cheese as 2 sides, hot English milk tea, hot lemon water and 吞拿鱼软欧包. So we went for pork neck as mains, baked mushrooms and baked broccoli with cream cheese as 2 sides, hot English milk tea, hot lemon water and 吞拿鱼软欧包. Other mains included grilled mackerels and chicken fillet. The other side was some baked pasta.
The pork neck was ok. The staff offered to reheat it for us. It was seasoned quite well. The sides were average but the cream cheese was quite bad - all dried up without much taste of cheese. The tuna bun was quite good. It was huge but of course the selling price was high at $38. They offered to cut it into pieces for us and asked how many pieces we wanted. The bun was really soft and the portion of tuna in the bun was ok.
Service was quite attentive. However, it still couldn't outweigh our disappointment of having no afternoon tea set because such food was just so average and not comparable with an afternoon tea set. The afternoon tea set was the reason why we came all the way to visit this restaurant...
