每次去位于大厦地库的星座冰室时, 也会经过一条充满历史痕迹的楼梯, 一边是按摩店, 另一边就是冰室. 香槟大厦是男人的天堂, 除了寻欢外, 也有相机店和表行, 花上一昼玩下表, 相机和镜头, 饿了就去冰室吃个Late Lunch或下午茶, 也是一件赏心乐事.这里的茄牛通味道十年如一日, 就是酸得自然, 蕃茄果肉丰富, 茄膏味不会盖过自然果酸和果甜, 汤汁较稀, 牛肉颇淋, 而通粉口感多够爽. 食客不多, 出品质素自然更好. 加上煎蛋而非炒蛋, 除了带多点煎香味道, 蛋浆和汤汁结合起来, 令汤汁更浓稠, 这就是街坊的配搭和美味. 香槟消失虽然暂时未有时间表, 但既成定局的时候, 趁着还未有排山倒海的人龙, 好好去吃怀念一下就是.Star Cafe has been operated for more than 50 years and the Champagne Court will be redeveloped soon.
