After Saturday night drinks on High Street, my girlfriend and I were craving some hearty authentic italian food. For primi we opted for a special of the day - the angel hair with duck ragu. Instead of the traditional beef ragu, a duck ragu brings a more sophisticated aroma and adds a rustic touch to the dish. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente and was the best companion to the salivating ragu sauce. I can only say I hope this one makes it to the regular menu.

For secondi we had the pan fried pork chop in Tuscan style which was a signature dish of the restaurant. It did not disappoint. The inch thick pork chop was wonderfully pan fried and was succulent and juicy on the inside. The accompanying heirloom tomatoes, beans and cauliflower makes the dish visually pleasing as well.

To top it all off we had the zuccotto for dessert. It was a creamy and delightful sponge cake filled with chocolate ganache and cream. It was light and just the right amount of sweetness to complete an authentic Tuscan meal.

对于secondi,我们吃了托斯卡纳风格的煎猪排,这是餐厅的招牌菜。 它并没有令人失望,有1英寸厚的猪排被完美地煎炸了,里面的肉质多汁。 随附的煎香的番茄🍅,豆类和花椰菜,也使这道菜在视觉上也令人愉悦。

最重要的是,我们点了zuccotto,这是一个奶油和非常好吃的海绵蛋糕,里面充满了巧克力奶油和鲜奶油。 这甜品🍮清淡,适量的甜味可以说是完整的托斯卡纳大餐。
