碰巧经过金钟当然要试一下这间新开的法式泡芙店。抹茶味道是香港特有,表面很薄及新鲜,流心的馅料充满著牛油及甜味,就是没有抹茶味,其实从其颜色已估到,可能法国厨师并不喜欢浓厚的茶味?以做工来说这件泡芙有满分,但对抹茶控来说味道就不合格了。但是柠檬味却非常浓厚,主要是酸味够之余甜味也不少衬拓得上,即时说其实吃了很多糖入口呢! 我会希望再尝试他们其他味道的泡芙,但抹茶味就留给未听过抹茶的朋友了。Passed by this brand new shop to try the HK-only matcha version of elciar. Passed by this brand new shop to try the HK-only matcha version of elciar. Pastry-wise there's little to challenge. Very fresh thin and crispy (prob not crispy but not soggy I would say) shell being filled with custard-like thick buttery cream. Everything looks good except the fact that there's little matcha inside. To many it's perfect but to matchaholic I'm disappointed.
However the lemon flavour was great. The citrus taste was not sparky but thick and rich (be warned, it had to be complimented with loads of sugar to reach this effect).
I would definitely want to try other flavours like the nut-infused ones, but matcha one? Leave it to ones who've never heard of matcha before.
