Pad Thai is a staple in most Thai restaurants, but the quality can vary. This Thai-style stir-fried Pad Thai here is packed with flavors. It has a slight sweetness and a delightful aroma of spices. You can choose between shrimp or chicken balls as the protein option. 😋
🔸 Thai-style Hainanese Chicken Rice ($65)
For an additional $10, you can specify the chicken thigh position. The Hainanese chicken here is tender and not too fatty. The portion is moderate, and it comes with two types of sauce and pickled radish as side dishes. Personally, I find it reasonably priced and delicious! 👍
🔸 Steamed Whole Fish with Special Sauce
Apart from the two lunch set options, we also ordered the steamed whole fish with special sauce. The fish is long and kept warm with a candle. The flesh is smooth and tender, and the sauce is outstanding and authentic! It has a flavorful and multi-layered taste, with a hint of sweetness, sourness, and aromatic spices. It was devoured quickly. 😜
Overall comment:
This time, we added a plate of lettuce ($12) and three skewers of grilled meat ($38). We even had the option to add fresh coconut at a discounted price. 😍
