Tam Jai is a go-to spot for Hongkongers craving rice noodles, and well known for the spicy soup. However, on my recent visit, I opted for the tomato soup with fish tofu and pork cartilage to avoid aggregating my sore throat.I always love the tomato soup's subtle sweetness, and it complemented the tender pork cartilage and savory fish tofu. I also enjoyed the addition of the pork cartilage, which was a new feature in their recent ad campaign. I will definitely go back and try the spicy version so
