Espuma is my always go to restaurant with my friends because of its wide variety of choices, nice atmosphere and great food! Tonight, we decided to go back again! From time to time there are some new options as a nice surprise so you will never feel bored with the food options there! For starters we have ordered the Tuna Tataki, Tequila Lime chicken drumsticks and the chill crab tarts. Tuna Tataki: The seared tuna with black and white sesame is my all time favourite here. The seared tuna with black and white sesame is my all time favourite here. But with this new starter, It added the summer flavour of lime sorbet and cucumber which added freshness into this.

The presentation of this dish is nicely decorated on a bed of pebbles. With a creamy chilly sauce, the size of these tarts are just about right as an appetiser, with a good amount of crab meat on it!

This is one of the surprising dish because it was served with flamed tequila! (Open rice doesn’t allow to insert video but there’s a big bed of flame when it’s served!) The drumsticks are nicely marinated with a good roasted taste.

This art piece is made of cheesy chicken spinach roll, purple glutinous rice, smoked egg and mango & spinach sauce. The delicious chicken roll is nicely prepared with spinach stuffed inside. However, the glutinous rice is a little weird combination as it’s sweet.

This pot of rice is filled with a very generous portion of seafood and pork! The rice texture is like paella & risotto with the rice being harder than usual but filled with seafood sauce. Adding seaweed and Lobster sauce is a interesting mix.
Blue Mussel with white wine and cream:
These big mussels come with garlic bread and the chilly creamy sauce is nicely paired with the mussels.
Black truffle fries:
This is a must try if you come to espuma because the freshly fried fries are just crispy and delicious with the truffle mayonnaise!
Last but not least, you can’t miss the dessert here!
Hojicha temptation:
This nicely presented Hojicha waffle draws every attention in the restaurant! There’s only a very mild Hojicha taste in the crispy waffle, but it has a good amount of fresh fruit that comes along with it.

This matcha cake roll is their new item! The green tea roll cake covered with green tea mousse and topped with merguine. However, as a matcha fan, this dessert is too sweet with little matcha taste

The tea is based with passion fruit which match perfectly with all the summer flavours tonight! There’s Apple chucks which you can enjoy the fruits while drinking the tea. My another always go to in espuma
All in all, it was a great experience with good food, new flavours, chill vibes
