Last night, I was really hungry, so I went to Tai Wai to order takeout to eat at home. I thought it was both affordable and satisfying. ☺️ Plus, this takeout place was super popular.
I ordered:
- Lap Cheong and Yun Cheung Sticky Rice
The rice was very soft and glutinous, blending perfectly with the flavor of the sausage and cured meat, giving a strong taste of home. The soaked sticky rice absorbed the meat’s oil.
- Doggie Rice Noodles
The texture was smooth and elastic, pairing well with the fragrant minced meat. The price for the minced meat doggie noodles was very reasonable.
- Curry Fish Balls
They were bouncy, and the curry sauce was spicy and delicious.
- Siu Mai
The outer skin was thin and transparent, with a rich filling. I love to pair it with chili sauce.
- Pan-fried Stuffed Trio
Made with eggplant, green peppers, and tofu, it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a rich texture.
- Grilled Chicken and Grilled Pork Skewers
