I ordered 2 appetisers only. The first one was 2 pieces of french bread with avacoda and cheese ($9.8/pc), these came at around 5:15pm. I waited till 5:25pm and asked to cancel the 蒸饺 if they were not ready. The groaned reply was: 又要包, 又要 蒸,等一阵 la".
During the time I was waiting, they were preparing for dinner time. The waitresses were noisily throwing dirty dishes (the afternoon tea time just finished and the waitresses just finished their own meals) into the plastic trays, moving tables around and setting tables A very noisy scene. The only good thing was that this temporarily covered the buddha prayer music coming from the speakers right above me from the dropped ceiling.
By 5:35pm, the 蒸饺 still did not come. I got up and went ahead to the casher to pay my bills.
The cashier did not like it but at last agreed to cancel the 蒸饺. I ended up paying $30+ (($10 + $9.8 x2) x 110%) for eating 2 pieces of french bread with avacado and cheese plus a pot of Chinese tea. The french toast and 茶钱 has mo 20% discount.
I was lucky that I was still in time to catch the afternoon tea set at a neighbouring eatry -- a hot noodle with pork chop and a specialty drink for $32, no 茶钱 and no 10% service charge.
P.S. During the 0.75 hour I seated there, there have been at least 3 tables with monk customers eating there.
