This contemporary restaurant is located on 25/F of Prince‘s Building in Central, with one of the best views on the rooftop of the building overlooking our beautiful, busy and vibrant city. After stepping out of the lift the staff greets us warmly and leads us past the lounge with the unique 15-feet long vertical garden. We are seated at the Harbourside Dining Room, which has glamorous lighting and many nice pieces of art decorating the walls. We start with Char-Grilled Octopus & Pomelo Salad ($420). The staff has helped to split the dish for us, with the octopus very nicely grilled, with a smoky fragrance, very tender and not rubbery. Coupled with the pomelo to give a bit of sweetness from the fruit and the acid from the dressing, the salad is very appetizing. A good recommendation from the staff.
Then comes Signature Roasted Pigeon ($420). The pigeon is beautifully roasted, with the skin crisp while the meat remains moist and juicy. It has been marinated well, very delicious and truly finger-licking good in taste. Paired with a tangerine grapefruit sauce, instead of using knife and fork, just put on the gloves and enjoy it in the most primitive and best way using your hands. Must try.
Last I have Dark Chocolate Thins, Caramelized Chocolate Mousse, Malt Crunch & Sesame Ice-Cream ($170) for dessert, while my wife goes for The Original Caramel Crunch Cake ($170). The layered chocolate mousse and thins are great in taste, sweet but not excessive. The malt crunch provides a contrasting bite in texture, with the sesame ice-cream balancing with a soft touch.
