The texture of the beef was very tender, almost melting in the mouth without much chewing needed. Combined with the egg yolk, it was very smooth and had a hint of sesame oil flavor. The accompanying toasted bread was very aromatic.
Morcilla Porteños (Argentinian pork blood sausage, salsa criolla, braised onions)
The texture was soft and not too strong in blood flavor. The sauce was a blend of herbs, olive oil, and a bit of lemon juice, making it very refreshing. The caramelized onions underneath were a delightful touch, adding sweetness and a refreshing taste without being too heavy.
Bife de Ancho (Ribeye 400g)
Served on a cast iron skillet with six different sauces on the side, giving the steak a lot of variety of flavour. We ordered it medium-rare, and it was straightforward to cut and extremely juicy. I recommend not leaving it on the skillet too long to avoid overcooking the bottom. Overall, this was my favorite dish of the day.
Chief’s Ravioli (Garlic butter sauce, parmesan chips)
This was a pasta dish, with two pieces of ravioli filled with spinach puree and ricotta. The ravioli was topped with Parmesan cheese, making them very creamy. The aftertaste had a slight matcha flavor, making the whole dish unique.
Total expense is around $1000, that’s amazing dinner!
