A painting near our table.I've been taking a Cantonese class in Wan Chai and using the opportunity to try some places I've always wanted to go. Before the winter break, we'd tried to go to FLM, but when we showed up they had no seats. I think the total was something like $260 a head, so not cheap by any measure. We did get a lot. I did think all the food was great. There was some elegance to the experience. Tables were spaced pretty far apart, and I liked the art (see above). Service could be a little gruff (we were waved off by a server on pig-duty), and we did have to wait about 10 min after our reservation time to be seated, but that's no biggie.
If you've got the dosh to drop, the food here is great, but you won't be missing out on too much if you go someplace cheaper.
