They have a promotion of buy one get one Free every Monday(limited to Beyond Burger, Impossible Burger and Classic Burger). Since it is quite rare for a restaurant to have both beyond and impossible meat(both plant based), so I decided to try these two so I can compare it(since the other is free)Before I go into the meat, both burgers were served hot and the vegetarian cheese for both burgers tasted just like the real thing though it seems to melt less easily so it doesn't have that gooey feelin
Before I go into the meat, both burgers were served hot and the vegetarian cheese for both burgers tasted just like the real thing though it seems to melt less easily so it doesn't have that gooey feeling. The buns were soft and nicely cooked.
So for the meat. After cutting the burger in half, you can see the beyond meat is more red, making it look more like meat.Both tasted great, being seasoned perfectly, and really resembled the real thing. Though when comparing both the same time, I would say I prefer Impossible meat more. It is more firm with it's texture closer to beef. The Beyond meat also had a sweetness to it(not dessert like, more like the sweetness from vegetables), though pleasant, making it taste less like the real thing(I guess it's due to the beetroot)
I think both of them are a great substitute for the real thing if you are a vegetarian.
