The afternoon tea at Green has always been my favorite afternoon tea place and recently they have promoted a new theme which is related to a fat replacer called Akkmore, leaving me guilt free from the afternoon tea, especially since I had 5 cups of icecream. The texture is a bit closer to sorbert but if I didn't know better, I would still think it is a normal icecream.For the starters, the best would be the prawn but it would be a bit better if there was a bit more scrambled egg.My lobster tail

My lobster tail was springy but I loved my orzo a lot. It was fully covered with its sauce yet it was not soaking the whole dish. The orzo was also al dente.
My friend's beef was described to be tender while the black truffle did not overpower the creamy mashed potato.
Besides the ice-cream, their Desserts are also made by Akkmore. I loved all of them but despite my love for fruit-based desserts, the one that impressed me the most was the pecan mille-feuille. Despite being non-fruit based, it was not too sweet with a lovely vanilla aroma whie the pecan flavors still popped up.
Looking forward to their next afternoon tea and hopefully I can enjoy more such Akkmore afternoon tea.
