My friend and I came here after finishing a hike and we were very hungry. The restaurant is located along a main pedestrian walking area for the village, between shops that sell various dried seafood. It is a simple restaurant with plain, clean tables and stools to sit on. We arrived around noon, when the restaurant opened, which was fortunate because 30 minutes later a large amount of local residents were queued up for seating. The dim sum is brought out in large bamboo baskets and the wait staff will come by your table for you to select what you want. This made me very happy because I am not very literate and so I was able to look at all of the offerings before choosing whatever looked delicious to me.
The food can only be described as 'robust.' It was super sized! The siu mai were enormous and it took me several bites to consume it. It was very generous with the roe on top, also. After only a few dishes, we were too stuffed to eat any more due to the very big portions. I tried a new dish that was a rice sheet around meat and a quail egg. Very tasty.
We also tried a stuffed tofu skin roll that was so big that it draped off the side of my bowl.
