Craving for oysters recently and we picked the small restaurant located in the quiet residential area in Tin Hau. Not a lot of tables inside but the environment is cozy and relaxing. We were seated comfortably in booths.Start with oysters 🦪 we preferred the creamy ones and only 1 species is available. We ordered a dozen for sharing of 2. Next, Escargots 🐌
Slightly hesitated before ordering but turned out to be surprisingly good, very well seasoned. Hot dishes with right potions of butter and garlic are never disappointing. Not to forget the crispy garlic bread and mashed potato of high quality.
Plenty of choices on mains - steak, duck confit, seafood, pasta… you name it
We went for skewers this time, each portion comes with 2 bunches. We tried out
(1) baby lamb fillet
(2) Ox tongue, very tender
(3) chicken wings, boneless, we like it
(4) chicken cartilage
(5) chicken heart, first time to have this, good but feel very heavy, maybe that’s why they gave you the lemon 😅 better to share with more people
Too full to have desserts, overall very nice.
Worth a second visit!
