2nd time to visit La Mensa located at Kai Tak Oasis. It is a grill & bar restaurant which nearby my home. The restaurant staff only speak in English. I think if they hire people who can speak Cantonese will attract more customers. Tonight I go there have dinner with my boyfriend. I always feel the restaurant is really relax and comfortable with beautiful decoration and a bar.We order below dishes;1. Pumpkin soup , taste are fresh、 creamy、strong and thick. 1. Pumpkin soup , taste are fresh、 creamy、strong and thick. Also have a crispy garlic bread perfect match with the soup.
2. Starter is Garlic mussels & clam bucket, big size , cooked with much garlic , small tomatoes and chilli, also slice of lemon for you add in when eat. Mussels and clam are fresh and sweet which is good appertizer.
3. Grilled baby back rips (half portion) with fries, the texture of the ribs are very tender,soft and juicy. When is arrived , a really strong grilled smell with barbecue sauce. Also really like the fries which thick and big with good texture and it is the best fries I ate.
4. Drinks: beer blue girl & pineapple smoothies , the smoothies is really natural with fresh fruit.
