They only have 4 tables, so making a reservation isn't a bad idea. On the Monday night that I went, the place was filled with a big family with kids, a group of girls (probably friends or regular customers, eventhough the place has opened for a month or so only), and us. But we didn"t feel squashed inside< the service was attentive (poured tea, changed dish without prompting) but not intrusive (i.e. keep pestering you for comments or explaining which food was which).We ordered a soft shell c
We ordered a soft shell crab tempura (not too oily), 1 handroll (wrapped nicely, fish fresh), sashimi rice bowl (about half a dozen varieties of fish, each of decent size, only $70!!), eel rice bowl (steaming hot, large pieces of eel), california roll (nothing too special). If there is something in particular you don't like, i.e. cucumbers, the waitress offered to remove it from the food, which was a nice gesture, though not applicable to our case.
One comment though, they could consider giving small freebies, like icecream or jelly for desserts at the end, just to cleanse the palate, and keep customers coming back. But for that price of food, maybe the profit margin isn't too big already.
