勝八鉄板串料理 (已結業)

Located in the perennially busy Circle Tower along Tang Lung Street, it's easy to discount this restaurant as "just another izakaya in CWB" but let me tell you -- it is not.  The food is *much better* than average (i.e., whatever you may expect for a similar Japanese restaurant in the area) and the service is excellent.  I recommend the premium sashimi platter - the extra HK$120 is worth the generous slices of fatty tuna and the luxurious helping of sea urchin. Reservations recommended.
