Saw the huge 出前一丁 banner and FB posts so decided to try the items.Order two noodle set that came with desserts and drinks. Iced mocha was mediocre, dried instant noodle tasted better in 茶餐厅. The deep fried instant noodle burger was interesting but very tough (not crispy) and salty.Dessert was egg waffles with rose petal, bacon bits and chocolate ice cream. Iced mocha was mediocre, dried instant noodle tasted better in 茶餐厅. The deep fried instant noodle burger was interesting but very tough (not crispy) and salty.
Dessert was egg waffles with rose petal, bacon bits and chocolate ice cream. It was a strange dish because it was sweet, salty and with a rosy fragrance. I like fusion food like salted caramel which is a good mix of sweet and salty, but this dessert was basically fusion gone wrong. The other dessert was green tea ice cream and azuki beans wedged between two shortbread biscuit. Looks good, but taste was blah.
It's a filling set but not a satisfying one.
