After I have finished my work appointment, it was already nearing lunch time, so I decided to have lunch nearby before heading back to office. 1988 was located at Kwung Tong, several minutes walk from Kwun Tong MTR. Iced Thai coffee – It was smooth and milky, with strong coffee taste.
Chicken in yellow curry with rice – The chef was generous with the serving of the curry, with curry chicken and potato in it. Curry was creamy and thick in texture, but not that spicy. Curry chicken was soft and smooth, and potato was soft and chewy.
Fried shrimp cakes – It was fried till very crispy and chewy, juicy as well.
