As someone who lived in Hong Kong, I never went to Cheung Chau. Since I wasn't free on the day of the Cheung Chau Bun Festival, I went there few days later. My main purpose of this trip - Sanrio Lucky Buns. Since the festival is over, things have quiet down a bit.  The buns were soft after reheating them at home and the sweet paste was just right without being too sweet. Overall, it was really cute and I would say definitely worth the trip.

 There is a popup  gift shop nearby which shows the Sanrio X Bun Festival souvenirs.
