Cookies Quartet is chain of bakeries in Hong Kong that sell cookies. There apparent claim to fame is the palmier. So, during this festive Christmas season, it's also a time for charity sales. And Cookies Quartet was out in force to support The Hong Kong Thalassemia Foundation.With a $50 donation, I received a bag of palmier cookies. I think this bag gave me about a dozen cookies. I've never had one from them before. They were delicate and crispy. Very light as well. The only thing was the caramelized sugar was a bit burnt. It also wasn't evenly distributed.
