I recently went to The Master of Char Siu to get char siu takeout. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The staff at the shop were extremely rude and unprofessional. When I ordered a piece of char siu takeout that was priced at $88, I was shocked to be asked for $96 at the checkout. When I asked about the additional $8 charge, the staff responded with an angry tone and explained that there was a surcharge for half fat and half lean char siu, as well as the takeout box. It is fine
I was taken aback by their attitude and felt as though I was being treated like a cheapo. It's not unreasonable for customers to ask about additional charges, and the staff's behavior was completely unacceptable. I was extremely disappointed by my experience at The Master of Char Siu and would not recommend this shop to anyone. The food might be good, but the terrible customer service ruins the entire experience.
