This is genuinely in my top worst western food experiences I've ever had in Hong Kong. I was on hiatus from reviewing for years and the meal here was so bad I had to write this review. I was taken in by the ambience and the hope of having a good meal while reading my kindle. But the dinner was overshadowed by how BAD the food was. Beginning with the fact that all the cheese topping tastes like the instant sawdust parmesan.
The onion soup says mixed 4 cheese but that's a lie. Its only the powdered parmesan. The cheese on top wasn't even baked on to the very stale bread floating on the thin mediocre onion broth. The photo on the menu is A LIE
The scallop risotto is depressing. More sawdust parmesan on generously seasoned tiny scallops but the rissoto itself is bland. Again mediocre made WORSE by the sawdust on top. Like they shouldn't have bothered and it would be less offensive. Also the raw flavor of the zucchini and the bell peppers just doesn't work. Had to take them out.
For dessert I had... a section of brownie? Looks like they took a block and diagonally cut it for an awkward triangle. The restaurant didn't have any non caffeinated teas on their dinner menu so I had to forgot my free drink. The brownie was kinda dry. I mean... Its unremarkable. Very sweet. Whats there left to say.
Waste of money and calories. Go elsewhere.
