I made this top in my must-go list simple because of its pretty red velvet cake!
Sadly I have only got my weekends left for leisure hang-outs..

I would totally come back for it before saying anything,
seldom could I have a place, that I'd love recommend everything that I've tried out!
I defo love the food here, and also its settings and its plates!

Since I came for my red velvet cake,
regardless that it should be a dessert, I can't wait to have it as my first thing!

RED VELVET CAKE
super rich and smooth cream cheese icing topped,
while the cream cheese in between cake layers is even richer
and the cake is buttery but not oily.
Its thick cake base is very satisfying in terms of favor and texture,
its mild sweetness with its strong butter flavor,
and its adorableness just give ya a perfect sensatious dessert moment

SALTED CARAMEL CAKE
it goes to our must-try item, cus like my boyfriend adores the combination salted caramel!
it's a pretty special one frankly sayin'
it's pretty much like a candy cake, with caramel candy penetrating the cake layers!
the cakes base is quite eggy and thick in texture,
caramel sauces just perfectly match the cake with its sweetness and wetness,
it's recommended as well though I like my red velvet cake more!

Haahaaa I know that's not proper to have kicked off our meal with desserts than comes to the Mains, kinda weird loll

ROASTED SALMON WITH ROCKETS, MASHED POTATOES and BEETROOTS
it's recommended simply because of one thing - timing!
salmon is cooked in right timing, raw enough but of course cooked enough

i'm not sure what i'm saying, but just that I could say the salmon meat is pretty silky,
while it's seasoned well too!
the rockets and mashed potatoes are the second highlights for it,
the rockets are crispy and fresh, and the mashed potatoes are buttery and creamy.
I know that's fat, but you just couldnt afford to stop eating it

APPLE CIDER RIBS WITH SALADS AND MASHED POTATOES
Actually im not a fanatic of ribs or steaks or even meat,
but it definitely a nice one!
The ribs are tender and soft,
though I can't taste any of the apple cider, the ribs are just very juicy.
Again, don't miss the mashed potatoes!
Just a friendly joke while enjoying our full plate mashed potatoes,
WORK HARD AND EAT UP THE POTATOES!

I must have tried all the dishes they have to offer on their menu!

This quaint and vibrant place offers great food and relaxation.

Looking for a nice place for breakfast? Craving for English, French, Asian or just any hearty breakfast? What about fresh ground coffee?? Or fresh squeezed fruit juices? Hmm mm.

This is the right place! Their menu isn't as complicated as it sounds. It just offers downright great simple dishes for those breakfast lovers.

Have I mentioned its all organic? Corner Kitchen need not boast about their organic ingredients. It's all just simple, healthy and fast too!

For brunch and dinner, all the dishes are available unless it's really unfortunate that they may run out of stock due to high demand.

I suggest for those who haven't tried to come by every so often, the food is addictive.

I am here every weekend and you will see the parade of loyal customers that come almost every Saturday and Sunday (which is obviously one of the busiest days). Hangover Saturdays, lazy Sundays.. Both Expats and locals enjoy having a bit of socializing over coffee, breakfast, drinks and/or cakes!

Bands of artistic people come by from the cat street gallery area for some snacks. Aspiring female and male models gather for a place to relax (sit under the sun). Young professionals, old professionals who are looking for a quick grub. Young couple, old couples feed each other with scrumptious meals (how romantic). Big groups of people, either families, friends or professionals seem to enjoy the ambiance Corner Kitchen carries. This place is also very dog friendly

I have to summarize the food review, as I have tried many of their dishes. Try:

Balinese Fish Wrap: it's like a massive fish taco. I love the juicy lime/lemongrass dressing smothered all over pan seared barramundi fish.

Salmon Burger: tightly packed salmon patty with watercress salad, Wasabi mayo dressing and french fries. (real deal salmon burger)

Homemade meatloaf: pork and beef meatloaf with smokey tomato salsa (it ain't Spicy just smokey!) mashed potato dill at the bottom and topped with fried egg! (perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner!)

Juicy Burger: looking for a real 100% meaty and juicy burger? Newly introduced on their menu but wow, it's already making its name famous. Thick burger patty, caramelized balsamic onions, crispy bacon, American cheese, tomatoes and lettuce, side of homemade bbq sauce for dressing, sandwiched with a soft, floury BAP bun.

Also comes with thick cut homemade fries. Don't wait on it too long.. This juicy burger may just moistened the soft bun. Once received, just attack it's mighty juiciness.

The rest of their menu is catered to each person's tastes. Whether you're a health buff, a lazy cook, a social butterfly or a foodie, their food will satisfy your tongues and stomachs.

題外話/補充資料： Open til late (9pm) during the weekdays, suitable for those who are tired to cook after work.
