Summer came really early this year! As the frst wave of summer, I hit the beach in Sai Kung in the early morning of a friday! Wohooooo~ I need a lot of energy after the intense sun bath and swim, without doubt, brunch is the best option! Yes all the time. We had a cafe in mind already, which is located in an alley of the old town (a constantly long queue is always there in the weekend, so we gotta make it on weekday!)It was such a lovely sunny day!The options are more than I expectedThe main pro

We had a cafe in mind already, which is located in an alley of the old town (a constantly long queue is always there in the weekend, so we gotta make it on weekday!)

It was such a lovely sunny day!

The options are more than I expected

The main products are homemade jam, here comes the jam list

Out of my expectations, there're quite a lot of choices matching with jam, it extended my imagination of jam combinations.

On top of normal All Day Breakfast Set, surprisingly there is a Veggie version on the menu! The major difference (except with out meat for sure) is my favourite portobello is included(!) So I made up my mind without any doubt.

The portobello was awesome, super juicy. and it tasted especially good with the scrambled eggs w/ cheese on top. It was heavenly good when you put them all together into your mouth.

Salad was fresh, big tomato was juicy. I like how it tasted sour with a lot of vinegar and a little bit extra jam on top

There was a some pot of jam serving with the set, mine was [Aloha Jam] which is made up of passion fruit, pineapple, papaya and apple. It was sour more than sweet, go for it if you doesn't have any sweet teeth.

Not only you can pick up one kind of jam, you can also choose between Toast/ Croissant/ Scone. I went for Croissant for extra 12 dollars but it definitely worth it. The croissant was crunchy and layered in texture. Seriously there is nothing more I can ask for.

For the big boy, he couldn't resist the meat temptation.

Baby Ribs is his all time favourite, however I also voted for it this time. The ribs was well cooked, the texture was extremely soft and tender.

Mild BBQ & honey sauce on top was good, but it tasted ever better with the homemade [Strawberry Jam]. The jam balanced out the meaty and oily of the meat which made it tasted especially good in the hot season.

Grilled Baby Ribs Set

In order to keep it as a healthy meal after the morning exercise, we changed the size dishes from Potato Wedges to Salad. I like how it was served with grilled courgette(zucchini).

We treated ourselves a small dessert after the main courses. Again, you can pick up your own choice of jam, and it was [Very Berries] (mixed berries) we have chosen.

They spent around 5 mins to reheat the scone after we ordered. Therefore the scone was actually hot when it was served, tasted like it was freshly baked. We appreciated how it was attended to details.
The jamming never end lol, after tasted 4 kinds of jam with the food, we tried 2 more with the drinks!

Sweet chinese style jam, which you can find a lot of Snow Fungus pieces at the bottom!

細雨紛飛的寒冷週末早上，約了咖啡之友到西貢吃早餐 : ) 我從坑口站乘小巴101M前往，車程只需18分鐘，非常方便﹗ 我們選了Let's Jam﹗我數天前特別致電訂座，訂了09:30，但最後約09:50餐廳才開門，大家要注意啊﹗這裡售賣多種口味的自家製果醬，連「木瓜雪耳」味都有，真有趣﹗先來飲品，我和咖啡之友分別點了「蘋果玉桂茶」和「桂花雪梨茶」(各HK$30)，初時還以為是一壺的奉上，有少許失望，沒料到一喝下去，啖啖軟綿蘋果肉加上玉桂香，美味得不得了，讚讚讚﹗我們還各點了一份 "Scone with Jam" (HK$14)，我選了店員推介的Aloha熱帶風情Jam，而Cindy Latte則選了Very Berry Jam，都是很天然的果香，清新甜美，讚﹗ 但Scone本身倒是一般，優點是夠熱吧﹗一場來到，再試試 "French Toast with Cinnamon & Apple Jam" (HK$45)，這個倒是令人驚喜﹗多士煎得香脆又夠煙韌，配以自家製玉桂蘋果醬啖啖滋味，而且價錢公道，讚讚讚﹗大家經過西貢想找個地方歇歇，這裡是個好選擇﹗順道還可欣賞海景呢﹗
