This is my first time inside the bar / restaurant, but I've walked pass it a few times and I was impressed with the outside. Unfortunately, the inside decoration lacks the WOW factor. Surely there are lots of replica of antiques (bowls, hot water bottle, clock, knick-knacks etc), however, they were merely display, none of them were put into actual use. The mosaic on the walls gives us a "brand new" feel instead of the old, worn and rustic feel. Having been to many bars or shops with similar them

The mosaic on the walls gives us a "brand new" feel instead of the old, worn and rustic feel. Having been to many bars or shops with similar theme in Beijing and Shanghai, I'd dare to say the decoration here is at most mediocre. With all the displays so out of reach and not being put in use, I could hardly sense the retro feel sitting inside.
Now, back to service, it was pretty good. I was greeted and severed by a lady as soon as I sat down. I ordered my drink and a glass of water. The water was served in no time. But I waited 15 mins for a mai tai - pretty long wait considering there are only 5 patrons who are already drinking. Food takes even longer. The wait for potato wedges and meatball with mozzarella took nearly 30 mins.
The alcoholic drinks were good. One of my friends got a mocktail (lychee, grapefruit and something), that tasted a bit werid.
Potota wedges were crispy and the portion was hearty. The meatball was poorly executed and the veggies on the side was a wrong match.
Overall speaking, I'd explore other bars before I come back here. But I would tell my friends they should come here once to experience it themselves.
