It's almost been a week since my very first visit and I cannot stop raving about this place. What I loved most about it was the authenticity in the food. I must stress this as it's not very obvious when you enter the vicinity. As we were waiting to be seated, it felt more like I was going to have Yum Cha that day. Luckily, that wasn't the case and every doubt I had about its positive reviews disappeared in mind. It's been a year since my trip to Penang and I was hoping that they would have my fav
It's been a year since my trip to Penang and I was hoping that they would have my favourite - Rojak. Sure enough, they did and it was delicious. The rest of the food that followed was a joy and brought me back to Malaysia. The dishes came out hot and the spices did not disappoint.
The staff were all too friendly to accommodate us (as we were a large group) and answer our questions whenever we had some, particularly on the order numbers and names. The service was smooth and the timing of dishes was at a moderate pace.
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to take their taste buds on a journey or anyone like me, who simply wishes to take a walk down the humble streets of Penang once again (I'm not crying, you are...and you will).
side note: Don't be surprised with the spices and chillies being offered. As it is in all restaurants, it's part of the culture/dish/menu. Feel free to ask.
