We were so lucky to have been able to make a reservation at this restaurant before it became viral after a local YouTube channel featured this restaurant. I’ve never been to a place where it literally turned away 30 people during our dining time because of their full booking! Reading the other openrice reviews, it does seem like many have been disappointed at the slow response rate of the restaurant. However, I think we need to be understanding that it is a small family run restaurant which probably did not foresee the sudden increase in demand after being featured. Being able to diner here, we decided to go for all the specialty that was recommended. The set lunch was under $200 for an appetizer, main and a drink. Both of the mains we ordered - slow roasted free range chicken and slow-braised beef cheek had us finishing the dishes to the very last tiny bite. The sauce that accompanied the beef cheek was finished as though it was soup, it was that good!!!😍😍 I would seriously want to drink it as soup. At first, I wanted to try the foie gras with the apple that was highlighted as a signature dish, but it was unfortunately out of stock. We were still able to add on foie gras onto our mains, but thought it was nothing too special without that apple as a pairing that we really wanted to try! To end the meal, we pre-ordered the mao-tai cheesecake which also had a very interesting twist to it, combining local flavours with a basic western dessert. It reminded me of a rum raisin dessert. I would come all the way again to dine here, but last we heard they were fully booked until the end of May! 😳

三個月前無訂枱見落雨諗住有枱，點知全場滿左。一個月前訂枱平日食午餐，點知餐廳休息今次終於俾我訂到枱食午餐，雖然要兩點先有枱，為咗食到好嘢，我都無所謂因為兩點我驚我想食嘅嘢賣晒，所以前一日預訂左我家主子至愛嘅鵝肝同羊架當然仲有佢最出名嘅茅台芝士蛋糕沙律蔬菜新鮮，醬汁酸酸甜甜好開胃餐湯唔係就咁忌廉湯，好似有薯仔蓉，正鵝肝煎得啱啱好，又夠厚羊架我要medium rare，太太太正我家主子食得太開心，叫多個煎豬扒不得了點解豬扒可以煎到咁林又唔會硬，呢啲就係大廚嘅手勢同用心處理食材最後茅台芝士蛋糕……不愧為佢哋嘅出名甜品！原來濃酒同芝士蛋糕咁夾我家主子話一定會再黎食其他食物，希望我可以好快訂到枱啦

整體食物質素係有米芝蓮水準，但服務及舒適度真係差過茶餐廳。奉勸老板要改善侍應的服務及質素。我們除主餐外，想另加一個risotto.到侍應覆一次各食物時，佢話：risotto… …因為今日冇米，會用意粉俾你。我哋O左幾秒咀，話為有講咁呢個唔要啦！呢個算係我在食肆的一個新穎笑話。等同你去叫碗臘味糯米飯，個伙記話我哋今日冇糯米，我轉個米粉俾你一樣感覺。總之。嘥咗個咁好嘅廚師。仲有，我們食午餐嘅，裹面冷氣完全唔夠，呢餐午餐食到滴哂汗。希望老板睇到呢個食評。

叫咗個牛扒五成熟點知上到嚟我見塊扒出少少燶正常咁但係一切開入面幾乎係全生三成熟都冇完全食都食唔到太誇張了價錢唔平人均都食咗五百幾蚊 但係個餐包係好硬好凍 個餐湯叫做OK但都係普通嘅蔬菜濃湯
