位於灣仔的東方素位於樓上店鋪3樓,今晚一家人來到吃個素食晚飯,餐廳門外放置了不少有關佛學的書籍,正在是新冠肺炎疫情之下,店員為入座的客人探熱,也有供應消毒搓手液,都有跟足政府的指引,每張枱都有相隔1.5米,枱上也有放消毒濕紙巾,餐廳的衛生情況相當良好。安定座位後,店員詢問客人點茶,同時奉上餐牌,餐牌的類別都混入了中、西、日式的菜式,比一般傳統的中式素菜更加有創意。餐牌的種類分別有頭算、湯羹、主菜、主食、甜品及飲品。 價錢都是不算太便宜。湯羹方面此店沒有供應一盅式一人份量的湯,最後我們選擇了一客西施南瓜翅($98),也可以足夠4人份量。端上來時已經散發了陣陣的椰香,熱辣辣散出陣陣的白煙,當中還有金菇絲、素翅及椰奶,湯的配料讓我們飲落香甜的南瓜湯時更有嚼感,份量真是十足,每人都可以再添多碗。妹妹選擇了一份主菜的沙律翠玉鳳尾蝦($98),當然沒有蝦肉的成份,只是放了一些素的蝦膠再炸,上碟時加了一些沙律醬,一碟一共有6件,炸至色澤呈金黃,咬下香脆爽彈,炸粉厚薄適中,蘸上香滑的沙律醬佐食讓口感更滑口。接下來再有一份小菜是天香炒百合($82),除了百合還有不少配料煮成,當中還有腰果、淮山、荷蘭豆、
