After a week, we were here in Kwun Tong for lunch again but this time for something different! It was a open cafe on 鴻圖中心 ground floor with romantic dim lights and traditional hanging fans. There was a big duckling soft doll being hung on the ceilings so it was not hard to find. The table cloth and the sofa seats were pretty antique too.The menu was pretty simple with signature grill sets, rice and risotto, and meat and fish sets. These sets were available whole day. The menu was pretty simple with signature grill sets, rice and risotto, and meat and fish sets. These sets were available whole day. It didn‘t take too long for us to make up our minds to try one of their signature grills and one salmon dish. All sets can be served with rice, fries or mashed potato. So flexible!

Green Salad (included in set)
All sets included a soup of the day, which was carrot soup during our visit, or Green Salad and a drink. The Green Salad had 1 cherry tomato, 2 cucumber slices, some corn and greens with some black vinegar dressing. Quality of food was super fresh and it was very refreshing. Good!

招牌西冷牛扒加鵝肝 at $186
We quickly made up our mind to try their signature grill of 西冷牛扒. Add-on of $28 to get foie gras was available so we couldn't help but try.

The server was so considerate to remind us to prepare napkin and poured the gravy sauce for us. I loved the amazing sound of dancing sauce on the teppan. We can choose either gravy or black pepper sauce and we went for the former.

The foie gras was cooked pretty well that it had a crispy crust yet soft interior. It was really quite a good value for money at an additional cost of $28. The sirloin steak had a clear grilled mark on it and it was quite rare and pink inside. The fries were very very good. They were of those thick and starchy type and seemed to have been ovened so that they were so healthy and free of salt. They went great with ketchup and we couldn't stop eating. There were some veggies on the teppan including some Italian yellow zucchini, carrot sticks, cabbages and small mushrooms. The overall rating of 4 mostly went to the foie gras and surprisingly great fries!

焗三文魚柳配薯條 at $108
The salmon was served in aluminium foil. It was quite big bottomed by some carrot shreds and a few celery shreds. The salmon was quite well cooked yet not too rough. The seasoning was just some garlic and probably salt on the surface. We changed the accompanying mashed potato to fries instead and portion was so big that we were so full. Again the fries were great!

Panna Cotta at top-up of $20 each
There were two types of desserts to choose from at a top up cost of $20. We both went for panna cotta. It was such a big cup! The panna cotta was very smooth and rich in milk yet not overly sweet. The amount of strawberry sauce was appropriate and the fresh strawberry slices on top were quite good. Highly recommended and super great value for money. Please do consider trying when you come!

Iced Lemon Water (included in set)
There was no additional cost to order cold drinks. Each of our iced lemon water had 3 slices of lemon in it and appropriate amount of ice cubes.
There was just a server but he was very efficient and polite that our food arrived pretty fast. We were really surprised that the fries were great and the portion made us so full afterwards. There were take-away service too. We saw someone ordering takeaway and it was so efficient that the food was ready in less than 5 min!
