天氣漸轉涼,食辣的胃口大增,趁放假日子即時約好友來個麻辣飯局;因應大家都方便的地區,最後選了大圍區的川味雞烤魚大王;與好友在大圍新地標見面後,便由其帶路往餐廳走近;餐廳由門面到内裡的裝潢都飾以平實風格,走大眾化的親民路線;餐廳有醬料自助區,可供重口味人仕有更多選擇;到堂内坐低,侍應生便遞上點餐紙及餐具;點餐紙由小食到主菜,供應的款式組合選擇頗多,由其火鍋食材更加豐富;經一番琢磨,選了餐廳招牌的川味雞煲及小食,就馬上落單;先來一個小食--茴味雞翼,一份有四隻中翼;外皮炸得香酥,且有濃郁孜然粉與茴香味,内裡肉質嫩滑,口感相當好!配上獅威啤酒,清淡爽滑的啤酒更加突出雞翼本味!之後的--紅油抄手(選了中辣),其抄手的餡皮厚薄度適中,肉餡相當足料;而醬汁相當有水準,黑醋與紅油比例相當好,令抄手的整體味道更多變化,讓人吃得更開胃!主菜選了中辣的--重慶麻辣雞煲(半隻);以鑄鐵鍋盛載的半熟雞煲一遞上時,其面上花椒有芫茜相伴,紅綠相間甚是好看,而底下的雞油更泛起一層油亮色!醬汁加上花椒類香料的氣味越發散逸半空中,直教人食指大動!當加熱一段時間,麻辣醬汁的味道越來越濃郁時,被主角完全吸收了這般美味,油潤
