There's been very little motivation for me to drag myself all the way to Kennedy Town these days but someone brought up the idea of visiting Little Creatures for brunch this weekend. 近日酒福不淺，早前玩了兩晚創意雞尾酒，今晚朋友帶我來試推崇自由創作的澳洲手工啤，Little Creatures 既是啤酒廠、亦是餐廳的名字。 座落香港島西面的盡頭，前往途中不得不漫步於寧靜的堅尼地城海旁，感覺有如置身異地，聆聽著風與浪的演奏，有趣的韻律不一交響樂，頓時有遠離塵囂之感；路過的餐廳全部大門關上以擋寒風，店內亦頗冷清，直至走到 Little Creatures，門面同樣寧靜，但甫入店內，原來非常熱鬧！真有瞬間重返都市之感覺，餐廳內擠滿華洋聚處的客人，完全是周五晚上、蘭桂芳之氣氛。一址兩用，這兒既是餐廳，亦是釀酒庫，右方靠牆的酒槽容器，別以為它們是裝飾品，其實正在運作中，糖化、洗糟、分離及發酵等，江龍本地新鮮釀造啤酒，粉絲真的有福了。 據說因為現代運輸發達，要把原材料運來已經無難度，例如不同國家的大麥品種及來自澳洲的水等。有理由相信這個舖位原先是廠或車房，因為非常深，走過中央收銀櫃另有食用大廳及開放式廚房，容納了數十人。牆壁上少不免以啤酒瓶及有關物品作裝飾。亦以黑板白字寫上今日精選 house brew。Little Creatures 始創於2000年，釀酒過程中，主張放膽

堅尼地城成爲我最近喜歡發掘新餐廳的地點，自從地鐵開通之後真係多左黎呢頭搵食。今次黎到呢間 Little Creatures, 就係位於海旁附近嘅，佔地非常大，一入去已經有好多 draft beer equipment！朋友介紹呢度有 beer tasting paddle, 即刻點左個。menu 上無寫價錢，問一問 waiter，竟然只係 $100!! 有 6 種不同啤酒，由淡至strong，正！Beer tasting paddle ($100) 物超所值。呢個粟米好特別，腐乳味，推介！Corn on the Cob ($65)Grass Fed Rib Eye ($295)，好好味，肉質柔軟，醬汁亦惹味喜歡 tacos 嘅朋友一定要order 呢個！($120)Mac & cheese ($75)，不需多介紹，小朋友最愛！

However touristy I may seem, I just can't hide the excitement after having my first craftbeer brewery visit in Hong Kong. Past visits to beer factory in Japan (eg. suntory, asahi) didn't intrigue me that much, partly because I treated them as sightseeing spots instead of restaurants that I could have a taste on its full-range menu items.
