穿過嘉咸街街市,無幾耐就嚟到Green Waffle Diner,聽聞佢開咗好耐,不過今次係第一次嚟。入面其中一面牆上用咗人造綠色植物點綴,多咗幾分舒適感。聽講佢哋晌平日午市經常爆滿,所以預先訂檯會較walk-in穩陣。但當日我晌下午茶時段嚟,食客就唔係好多。呢個時段仲有較相宜嘅下午茶餐,餐牌大約兩星期左右轉換一次。原來呢度除咗窩夫,薯粒鑊仔都好出名。我就決定散收一份薯粒鑊仔,再加窩夫下午茶餐,咁就啱啱好試晒佢哋。Herbed Veggie Skillet,鑊仔上嚟時仲好熱,令食物食到尾仍然係暖嘅。雜菜有翠玉瓜、車厘茄、靈芝菇、青椒、洋蔥等,先將中間嘅水波蛋刺穿,等蛋黃汁漏出再撈勻先食。薯粒炸得外脆內嫩,當中夾雜咗車打芝士碎,加埋一齊口感豐富。份量方面,由於薯粒比較飽肚,對女仔嚟講都幾足夠,惟因為防黏底嘅關係,油份相對會比較多。薯粒鑊仔係用鹽同黑椒等調味,我覺得就咁食已經夠味,最後只係加咗少少茄汁同辣椒汁提味咋。Oreo Waffle with Vanilla Ice-cream,雪糕除呍呢嗱味外,仲有士多啤梨同朱古力味揀。Oreo Waffle係晌原味窩夫漿入面加啲Oreo餅碎,外焦
