Featuring the northeast ‘Isaan’ region from Thailand, here offers dishes with salad, grilled meats and fish prepared on the charcoal pit. However, I was not a fan of their use of dressings and seasonings. Not sure if their style is authentic but I definitely prefer other Thai restaurants more..🥂Yum Sum O $148It’s basically a salad with prawns and yuzu. 🥂Yum Sum O $148
It’s basically a salad with prawns and yuzu. You don’t see many prawns here but their texture was a little weird - soft and bland. Liked the cashew nuts to create an extra crunch, the sweet and sour tamarind dressings was a little too sour from my opinion.
🥂Khao Pad $158
Not much flavour from this fried rice so we needed to add lots of spicy sauce to it. Good thing is the sauce was spicy enough.
🥂Gai Yang $158
This chicken thigh was marinated for 24hrs in garlic, pepper, coriander and grilled to crispy. However, the meat was not very juicy. Jhim jeaw sauce was served on the side to give a sweet, sour and a little spicy flavour.
🥂Khao Niaw Mamuang $88
It’s just a mango sticky rice but the mango was not very sweet.
🥂Green Mango (free)
They kindly gave us this green mango with lemongrass sugar and chilli sugar. Taste was special but not my type of tea. Those mangoes were also very hard to chew.
Didn’t find anything special from this restaurant and the cooking style was too unique which I don’t seem to appreciate that a lot.
