sad to see that the restaurant was very empty during dinner service on a weekday. only 3 other tables while we were there. service was excellent and attentive.we ordered: Murgh tikka chaat, a salad of chicken tikka pieces tossed with onions, lettuce and cucumber. good portion and was tasty but unfortunately a bit salty.next up: spinach palak paneer and bhuna gosht (dry lamb masala) with naan and roti.Large portions. would have liked both dishes to be more spicy, the palak paneer didn't taste

next up: spinach palak paneer and bhuna gosht (dry lamb masala) with naan and roti.
Large portions. would have liked both dishes to be more spicy, the palak paneer didn't taste spicy at all. lamb was dry, although the menu stated that they would be succulent.

although we were quite full at this point, at the recommendation of the waitress we finished off with a homemade kulfi, an Indian style ice cream. this was a large portion, best shared between 2 or more people. presentation was lovely, but the taste of condensed milk was slightly overpowering.

overall a pleasant experience at jashan. food was average, didn't have a "wow" factor, but the service definitely made up for it. portions are large, and the amount we ordered would have been sufficient for 3 people. would come back again but will ask for more spice next time.
