I've been to Mumbai and Goa in India briefly before Covid, but didn't have time to visit the Kailash Parbat headquarter, why not give it a shot in Hong Kong? Plus, this household Inidan franchise has recently been listed as one of the 8 best vegan restos in HK by one of my favorite food magazines. It's scorching hot outside so we had pistachio milkshake and iced masala chai. It's scorching hot outside so we had pistachio milkshake and iced masala chai. Really impressive thirst quenchers, the chai masala instantly reminds me of the hot chai I had from the Mumbai street vendor (iced one is equally good). The milkshake had a scoop of very rich pistachio icecream and nutty bits on top, it's superb!

Appetizers: Sev puri, and Malai paneer tikka. The former is a mixture of sweet/ sour/ tangy/ savory/ crunchy canape: a very appetising tomato, potato, onion, chilli, green mango salad on top of a deep fried flour disc, covered by a mountain of sev (crispy chickepea noodles) and flavored with tamarind chutney. The paneer tikka is grilled cottage cheese cubes (both the texture and taste were like tofu) and bell peppers, served with a refreshing green minty yogurt dipping sauce.

We had a few mains to celebrate Easter. Shahi paneer (tomato curry with cottage cheese) paired with garlic naan; crispy veggie balls in Manchurian gravy; and burnt garlic fried rice. The pink curry is tomato-based, just a tiny bit spicy, and a piece of naan is definitely your best vehicle to carry it.

The Veg Manchurian and garlic fried rice were Indo-Chinese dishes. Honestly that's my first time trying Indian-styled Chinese food! Very delicious gingery soy sauce seasoned Manchurian gravy and the fried veg balls felt like 素紅燒獅子頭! The burnt garlic fried Basmati rice was wonderful, full of wok hey, each grain could stand on their own and it's perfectly stir fried. Please have our genuine applause.

p.s. Their menu reads like a little bible, a bit of history, some photographs, and a vast menu of delicacies.
