There used to be one place for Burmese food a few years ago in Cheung Sha Wan called 滋味堡 but it closed down so you have to go to Macau for it. 滋味堡http://www.openrice.com/en/hongkong/restaurant/cheung-sha-wan-%E6%BB%8B%E5%91%B3%E5%A0%A1/photos/31811Now there is a joint in yaumatei.Tried the Mohinga noodles (burmese fish noodles).It had banana tree stems in it which were a bit too woody for my liking.I was given prawn crackers but some Burmese places give you tofu puffs.Compared to Cheung Sha Wan, the noodles were different, here you get thick rice noodles and the place I tried before had flat rice noodles.The soup was bland and there were too many fine fish bones it it.
