見到網上評價不錯,就去左試晚餐。人流唔多基本上可以唔使book位,但環境唔錯見到set dinner 都係$400 ,覺得幾抵,雖然我地無睇價錢狂加錢轉餸菜前菜好細碟,早知揀自選bar我倆叫左帶子同鴨肝,都幾好味 黑松露湯最普通第一道主菜揀左蜆肉意粉同海鮮意大利飯,味道好好,好多餸,不過分量得幾啖主菜揀左最貴的澳洲安格斯牛扒,要加多三百。係香港食過好多牛都唔得,六成熟煮到八成,但呢個無overcook, 好嫩好好味,值得一讚甜品揀左panna cotta 同tiramisu, panna cotta 差d, 因為唔夠creamy, 口感硬左。不過tiramisu 好好味,雖然無酒,但係加左朱古力碎,老公大讚整體幾好,而且服務一流,有機會會再去

沙律的蕃茄很大顆,很新鮮,而最好吃的當然就是那個法國 goat cheese (Saint Maure Cheese)啦,配著墊底的小麵包塊我恨不得把林生的都吃掉呢。
 菜湯很入味,有著濃濃的蘿勒及蕃茄味,喝下去很舒服,很開胃。

紅蝦蕃茄扁麵很多汁,和麵一起吃就像在「吃」龍蝦湯般,遇著這個好味東西林生都不顧什麼儀態了,一口咄著蝦頭要把汁都吸乾。
我還是比較喜歡我的risotto. 它沒有紅蝦扁麵的濃,卻是100%入味的。牛肝菌很有咬口,配著risotto外脆內軟,口感真是一流。(不過個人喜歡risotto再「林」少少,綿綿的會更好)

全晚我最喜歡的便是主菜。我喜歡吃魚,所以吃西餐十次有八次都會以魚作主菜。這個智利鱸魚真是這些年來吃過最好吃的。肉身厚、嫩得很、多汁,我還道自己在吃銀鱈魚呢。托底的是西難蘭花嫩薯蓉,味道淡淡的,吃不了很多。伴碟的那兩個小ravioli有點硬身,不吃也可。
林生的肉眼扒煎得剛好,少咸,不是很厚身卻很有肉味,口感也不錯。

這五道菜的一周年晚餐吃得很滿足,很快樂。每道菜來的時間和分量剛剛好,不會太急太多,好讓我們吃過,唞一唞,談談天,又各自玩吓電話,再吃下一道菜。飽滿卻一點不覺滯呢。這年過得很富足,也很快樂,知道快要進入人生下一個階段的我們也很珍惜二人世界的時間。謝謝Amico讓我們過了個愉快晚上。

Other Info. : 以餐廳的地段、格局、service, 還有及後發現廚師們都是從 Sabatini 來的,真的很抵啊!我覺得我會再來再來的

HARD TO FIND... the taxi will drop you off at a ‘T’ intersection and you must walk up the road about a block to get to Amico... there are so many lost people looking for it that the locals know what you are looking for.  waited on us and did a superb job. My appetizer was good, my wife’s cheese and tomato was better. She had the veal Milanese and thought it was great..More of a ‘Wienerschnitzel’ to me. But anyway. I had the sea bass and was more on the very good side. Bread was good... warmed with a garlic brush. They had music later in the evening. I don’t think they will make it but give it a try... it is that four dollar sign price. But cheaper and better than the Italian in the Shangri-La hotel. The ice cream was good and the lemon cello was also a treat... they were very good to us.

一問之下,歌者是來自菲律賓的,最令人驚喜的,是她竟能懂得用普通話演唱出整首<<約定>>,而且一點也不懶,實在叫人拍案叫絕

整體而言,無論環境,服務方面也不錯
食物方面,頭盤和湯品也令人欣賞,只是主菜環節還是要努力改進一下
香港就是要這些有勇氣的朋友!

當天原來他預先安排了生日歌演唱,誰知Live Band在旁時我一直在點一些奇怪的歌;唱了幾首歌後,他終於忍不住問:不如唱生日歌?怎料我卻連連說不,最後Singer醒目地唱了首Lovely Girl,再貼心地把Happy Birthday安插在歌字當中,非常驚喜。

「Amico」在意大利文意指「朋友」, 代表著餐廳幾位年輕老闆的合作和友誼。Amico由環境氣氛、食品質素及服務態度都達到一流水平,要浪漫慶祝的Couple們要來一試喔!

To be fair, the quality of the food is not bad given the price they charged. The two of us finally decided to go with the tasting menu so we could try a little bit of everything. For a $598 set, they have included the appetizer, soup, pasta, main course, dessert and coffee/tea which is unbelievable.

We picked the self-selected antipasti dish as appetizer and we were allowed to go for one round of food at the antipasti table. I was indeed pretty full after finishing the smoked salmon & parma ham yet there were loads to come.

The main courses came in full portion whilst there were 2 options of steak I could choose from – Australian M8 or USA rib eye, my preference went to rib eye as I love the stronger taste of US beef. I also tried my friend’s Wagyu beef duo (cheek & tongue), the meat was so tender from its slow cook handling. 2 different types of beef, 2 different ways of cooking = double enjoyment!

The dessert of the day was the French chestnut cake whilst I picked Tiramisu from their dessert menu (pay extra $48 from its original $68). I always believe the Tiramisu can somehow represent the spirit & authenticity of an Italian restaurant (sounds crazy eh?). Chestnut cake turned out to be very good, not too sweet and the chestnut was outstanding! For the Tiramisu, it’s a modified version…very smooth but the taste of coffee & rum were weak, probably the chocolate covered them all; not a traditional Tiramisu yet interesting.

Other Info. : Corkage charge is $200 and the manager highly recommended me to open (or take home) another half bottle just to save the corkage fee. He's been very helpful but the two of us couldn't drink a second bottle anyway.

Traditional antipasto with Parma ham
Was expecting different kinds of antipasto, but it turned out to be just cataloupe
.  An ok dish.
Seared Scallop 
Can't remmeber the name of the sauce, but I liked the sauce more than the scallop itself.  The scallops was quite bland and I could not taste its freshness.
Potato soup with truffle scented, poached quail egg and chicken liver pâté bruschetta

The soup was quite rich and tasty and the quail egg melted perfectly in the mouth. Quite an innovative dish!
Oyster Soup
This was from the more expensive set but it was quite disappointing.  The oyster tasted fishy and the soup was too watery. 
Baked home-made tagliolini with pancetta and béchamel sauce

This small pasta dish was cooked perfectly (al dente) with simple and tasty white sauce. 
Home-made tonnarelli with Sicilian red shrimp and date tomatoes

The shrimp was quite alright (seemed fresh compared to some reviews before), but the highlight for me was the pasta.  The home-made tonnarelli had a texture similar to Asian noodles.  It was chewy and blended well with the sweet tomato sacue.    
Grilled US prime beef rib eye
Asked for medium and it turned out just right.  The meat was jucy and tender.
Almond crusted lamb loin stuffed with duck liver and black truffle sauce
Chose this dish (from the more expensive set) upon recommendation of the manager (supposed to be their signature dish), but it was not as great as expected.  The lamb was quite tough and bland, although everything else on the dish (especially the sauce and the duck liver) was good.
Dessert & Tea/Coffee
Dessert was a chocolate cake which was rich without being too sweet.  Perfect with the complimentary coffee/tea.

Other Info. : Throughout the whole dinner we were entertained by the live band who walked around tables to sing requested/ unrequested songs. During dessert time they came around to sing a few songs for my parents. Good place for celebratory dinners!

我試了少少,一向不喜愛吃羊的我, 今次都覺得ok! 因為這道菜一點"酥"味都沒有! 羊很軟很嫩,黑松露汁不會太多,不會遮掩羊的新鮮,入口亦不會太"漏"!

Dessert 來了!超超超喜歡個雪糕! 有酒味的,而且入口即溶!配合Strawberry,blue berry 都很適合, 甜上心頭呢!!
而餐廳一直都有提供香檳,我很享受地飲呢!
