To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. We ordered the Set Brunch ($346) to share, and there are a number of choices for the starter and main. For starter we decided to have Tater Tots, which is grated potatoes formed into a cylindrical shape and deep-fried, and then added with melted cheese and some chili in a nacho fashion. A very nice appetizer and paired well with beer.

For the main course we opted for Wagyu Hanger Steak and Egg. The piece of steak is beautifully grilled, with good sear on the outside and juicy on the inside. The egg is nicely pan-fried too, with a chimichurri sauce. Looks simple, but this is certainly a comfort food which is quite decently prepared.

There is also a dessert, Home Made Cookies. Nice with chocolate chips, there is also a mint and vanilla infused milk on the side to pair with the cookies. A complete and nice finish to the meal, it also includes a coffee or tea to wrap up. 

Service is quite nice, with the staff courteous and friendly, and the social distancing measures like the divider on the table, sanitizer and mask holder, are all arranged neatly. The bill is $464 with no service charge included. A nice place to enjoy a good beer and some comfort food.

    見咁多人嚟打咭，加上平時唔多食特別嘅美國菜，所以都專誠嚟試下啲熱氣嘢，哈哈。一入到去全部侍應都係外國人，而且光顧嘅大多數都係外國人，播住音樂都幾舒服，不過我坐嗰張長枱喺正佢嗰bar枱隔離，基本上店員每次都要經過攞嘢同收銀，都會hi到我背脊，都幾困擾。不過佢bar枱有列出佢哋自家品牌嘅多款手工啤，鍾意飲啤酒嘅人絕對適合，而餐廳對面就係佢哋嘅啤酒工房。我哋2個人叫咗Tater Tots, Hummus Cauliflower 同Buttermilk chicken waffle, 3樣嘢都好好味。美國嘢當然就係要食依啲炸嘢，佢全部都炸得好脆，但又唔會好油，而且好香口。佢個炸薯粒香脆之餘，加埋啲醬同煙肉碎真係好夾。另外Nachos配嗰啲其實我都唔肯定係咪椰菜花蓉，但因Nachos去點佢好好味，加埋少少果仁類嘅配料，好有口感。之後就係主食，隻雞同煙肉都脆卜卜，完全係咬落口卡卡聲嘅，切一舊連埋個窩夫同啲甜醬食真係超級好味!!!!!我真係冇諗過原來炸雞可以咁樣配搭嚟食！總結，除咗坐高枱高櫈唔太舒服之外，仲有嘢食偏貴，啲嘢食都真係好好味。

      而且佢賣相都好吸引 一上嘅時候 面頭就有一隻好靚嘅”太陽鴨蛋” 而且有好足料嘅鴨肉絲 同pickle ! 包嘅質素亦都幾好 整體嚟講我覺得幾滿意嘅👍🏻
      呢度仲有一個好出名嘅milk cookie 見好多人嚟都有試 而且佢可以配普通牛奶或者Mint milk 所以都好有興趣下次再嚟試🤪

      再唔係約埋成班三五知己嚟 坐佢啲bar枱 飲下酒食下野 都係唔錯嘅選擇
      自己上網爬過下文見有人話呢一度嘅咖啡麻麻哋 所以覺得大家嚟到都係試吓佢嘅啤酒會比較穩陣🤪

We got there on a Sunday at 12:30pm, the place was already full so we put our names on the list and went elsewhere for a coffee nearby while we waited. They do a brunch set for $258, which although is quite pricey, comes with 3 courses and a drink.        LOVE! 💕These were GREAT, you really can't go wrong with fried potatoes to be honest. The cheese sauce wasn't very strong in flavour, but the tots didn't need it as it was yum on it's own.

       I ordered the Kimchi Shakshuka (I can't resist a good shakshuka!) and loved it! The tomato sauce had a great amount of heat, the kimchi flavour was subtle and not overpowering. It came with 2 eggs with running yolks, and topped with a herby yogurt which accompanied everything really well. Highly recommend 💯

       The toast came with a really great mushroom puree with additional mushrooms on top. Loved that, it really elevated the toast. The fried eggs were just fried eggs though, nothing too special there and there wasn't enough toast to eat the dish with everything together.

      I'm not a huge sweets person, and definitely not a cookie person, but I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this! The cookies came warm and gooey (like falling apart gooey!). It was served alongside mint infused milk -- how great does that sound! That made the whole experience of milk and cookies a solid 10/10. Cookie was a little too sweet for me, but I'm sure its an absolute crowdpleaser😊

       We were being really boring this day and opted to get hot tea, nothing else to note, but love that drinks (coffee or tea) is included. 

      Overall, really good food and a great brunch experience! I love meals that feels like it's been created by someone who's genuinely passionate about food and I really felt that here! Next time I would want to try more a la carte items, and I don't think 2 people needs this much food to be honest. Bit pricy but would definitely come back as a treat!

It also have a brunch and dinner menu for the times before peak bar hours. This restaurant is located up in sheung wan which could take a little time to get to from the MTR station. But given how far away it was and there was still a line to get in, I think you know Blue Supreme means business. We couldn’t help ourselves so we got two brunch sets valued at 258

        We couldn’t help ourselves so we got two brunch sets valued at 258 per person (there’s still service charge) just to try as much as we can off the menu.


        Starters


        Tater tots is amazing. I don’t know how to explain their genius of how they made a dish so simple taste so good. It was a mixture of the perfect size of the tater tots with a good nacho cheese base. The cheese itself was also worthy of praise since it wasn’t those cheap nacho cheeses that get thick and gooey fast. This is my recommendation for the starter if you decide to get the brunch set


        The cauliflower hummus was also an equally amazing choice. This is one of the smoothest hummus I have had in ever. I’m not even sure how they managed to get the hummus tastes so good and so smooth. There is a caveat. The tortilla chips that came with it was not good. It was bland and too hard to be a good compliment to the hummus dish. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. So we did what every sane person would do and ate all the hummus without the tortilla chips.


        Mains


        The kimchi shashuka. You could tell that it’s a staple dish at blue supreme given that the amount of people that have ordered this dish. You have got to admit it looks absolutely gorgeous and I can confirm it tastes just as it looks. I loved the bread that came with shashuka quite simply because I like good bread. The kimchi flavour was not obvious but I do like the dish overall. I’m not sure what their secrets are for this dish but this is something I don’t think I could ever replicate at home.


        The herby mushroom toast. Did I like it? Eh. Was it good? It was alright. Was there anything mind blowing about this dish? Not really. Would I pay 138 HKD to get this dish a la carte? Most likely not. It was a mushroom toast and that was it. There wasn’t anything special to it nor was the bread toasted properly. The eggs were eggs, also nothing special to it. This is a dish that I think most of us can make and of a similar quality.


        The dessert


        Honestly the highlight of the meal. This was the best thing that came to our table. The cookie was absolutely amazing and melted right in our hands. The chocolate was still melting and it just smelled gorgeous. The milk was also mint infused so you get this hint of mint when you dip your cookie into the cup. Makes for a perfect meal. This dessert right here is worth visiting for. You have to get this if you’re lucky enough.


        Overall experience.


        I can only say that perhaps 258 per person for brunch is slightly over the top. Given that tater tots was 72 and the herby mushroom toast was 138, it is reasonably priced for what you get. However the amount of food that came is beyond the portions of two people. I suggest you get two mains and a starter with dessert instead of two of each.

          One of the mains is their shakshuka which is insanely rich in tomato with a punch of spice from the kimchi which turns out to be a surprisingly good combination. Oh and of course the perfect gooey egg yolk adding another layer of creaminess and flavor to the dish. There’s just never enough bread for this delicious goodness! But nonetheless we emptied the plate with a happy tummy.

          The seemingly simple steak and egg featuring a wagyu skirt steak is well executed with a perfect medium rare. The refreshing grassy salty rocket chimichurri sauce lifted the beef flavor tremendously and add a breath of freshness to the dish. But the best part gotta be the sunny side up egg yolk creamy goodness just brings the steak to yet another level.

          非常靚嘅炒滑蛋🤩加入奶油去煮，所以比起一般嘅更加綿，比較似係法式版本嘅炒蛋。再加上三文魚子同埋香蔥，令到更加有鮮味🔥不過個蛋本身就唔重蛋香，比較淡，如果多少少鹽或者牛油香氣就更好🙈另外同樣會配上sourdough俾整成蛋吐司咁食！

          A small hidden American style bar in the corner of sheung wan ! This restaurant is filled with westerners at night, you barely ass any local HK or Asian around ! Provençal fries served with herbs and lemon parmesan aioli! This delicious fries is best served with a beer ! The dip is light and refreshing, it made the fries less heavy and more addictive!           A small hidden American style bar in the corner of sheung wan ! This restaurant is filled with westerners at night, you barely ass any local HK or Asian around !

          Provençal fries served with herbs and lemon parmesan aioli! This delicious fries is best served with a beer ! The dip is light and refreshing, it made the fries less heavy and more addictive!

          Wagyu bavette

          Originally they said it was sold out but I was really craving for something more on the protein side. The staff had reconfirmed with the kitchen that they can cook me one ! The Wagyu was tender. It was not well distributed fat type of Wagyu !

Rarely can you find a weekend brunch spot with such nice ambiance and open bright space yet not crowded with noisy people. One can easily spend a quality 2-3 hours eating, chatting and chilling here.             Highly recommend their shakshuka which is insanely rich in tomato with a punch of spice from jalapano. It’s the all purpose dipping stew which you can literally dip anything into it and taste wonderful (the bread, tortilla chips, even the waffle!)

            Dessert was a homey classic house made cookie and milk. Dipping the chocolate chip cookie into the mint and vanilla infused milk was simple yet incredibly delicious, it automatically created the mint choc flavor, which is my absolute fav dessert flavor!
