I saw this listed on Openrice so I assumed it was a restaurant but it turns out to be a temporary restaurant. It was closed when I went but I managed to catch their stall at the Sassy event. There were lots of people so I only got the coconut cake which was interesting because it wad red in colour. They looked like the strawberry coconut tarts we had at school.Anyway, they were quite nice but a bit too sweet.

I am so glad this place opened. I love Caribbean food. This is like one of the 2 that I know. The other (name starts with R) had such terrible food. Unlike the other reviewer, I actually love the casual decor of this place. We sat outdoor it was pretty cool. I wouldn't expect it to be one of those pretentious restaurants in Central. This is a Caribbean joint, so I think the decor definitely match to its theme. The waitress/cook was a really sweet and down to earth woman.
We had the beef patty (love the crust, they definitely nailed it with the authenticity), jerk chicken (I would prefer more Jamaican kick to it, this is more peppery), rice and beans and plantains (a bit hard to my taste).
I ordered a ginger tea as well. The waitress brought me sugar cubes with a cute spoon with it. This whole set up and the designs and shapes of the bowls and spoons reminds me of the Caribbean!
Also, when the food came, it wasn't THAT hot. So maybe they can improve on that.
I'm just really excited that this place exist. Please stay open so I can come back again on my next visit!
