好平凡的去左朗豪食飯,識左一對蘇格蘭夫婦,佢地問我地邊度咖啡好,Starbucks佢又Ban得咁強烈,不如去當時有買一送一(PS:張紙唔知而家仲用唔用到?!)既十二樓新開舖啦。o個杯叫咩已經唔記得名,但係@佢賣野既Counter有相睇=)Mousse質感但咖啡味更重,同埋面頭既糖粉頗甜(溝埋的話應該似Mocha XDDDD)值得一提係佢送既曲奇*老公話隻小圓橙味曲奇好得=)至於燕麥嘛,都頗有咬口(最緊要係唔駛錢XDDDD)33蚊感覺有小Tea感覺都唔錯Wor@@"遲D有機會叫另外既咖啡甜品*(咩唔係飲咖啡既咩?!)記住:嗌野要全英,你有可能聽到佢地講意大利文Gar*

晚飯前同男友試左呢間新開既咖啡店叫左一杯 iced cappuccino正~!!!! 好好飲~~ 同當年係羅馬飲既個種味好似~果然係正宗意大利咖啡好飲過 starbucks/ pacific coffee (不過同樣價錢, 係starbucks就大半杯左右啦...)隨咖啡附送三塊小曲奇um... 唔係咁好食望下隔離檯, 點解d 曲奇唔同樣? 仲好似好食d 咁睇來要看運氣環境唔錯, 梳化位坐得幾舒服waiters 幾有禮貌不過我地趕住走, 下次試下慢慢歎先~

I think even the best coffee in town won't worth to wait for 50 mins.My friends and I experienced this in Caffe Pascucci on Sunday afternoon.The cafe wasn't even full house! I tried to remind the guy about our order had been waiting for 40 mins. His answer was straight forward and funny. He showed me the list of pending orders on his bar table, "You see? we had a lot of orders." I wonder, so I supposed to wait for 40 mins? My friends and I experienced this in Caffe Pascucci on Sunday afternoon.

The cafe wasn't even full house!

I tried to remind the guy about our order had been waiting for 40 mins. His answer was straight forward and funny. He showed me the list of pending orders on his bar table, "You see? we had a lot of orders."

I wonder, so I supposed to wait for 40 mins?

We gave him 10 mins more, then the coffee finally reached to us and it's cold.

There was another couple rather gave up their payment and coffee instead.

Seriously, I wonder who long this cafe is going to survive.

I have never been quite fond of MongKok's strip malls. They look all the same from the outside and the inside too. It's either label-filled and crowded with people who wear them. In fact, MongKok, more so than Causeway Bay, is a walk-around market research, hence introducting something new to MK-ers is usually a good idea. I have never been quite fond of MongKok's strip malls. They look all the same from the outside and the inside too. It's either label-filled and crowded with people who wear them. In fact, MongKok, more so than Causeway Bay, is a walk-around market research, hence introducting something new to MK-ers is usually a good idea. If responses are good then you move on to other areas. Caffe Pascucci is the new coffee joint which is more about coffee beverages then the coffee itself. Unlike FUEL at IFC, which I reviewed just days ago, Caffe Pascucci is also opening in Wan Chai. What CP focuses on is coffee, and I think the variations of the same theme makes it so special.

Browsing the menu is not quite as easy. In conventional coffee chains you have lattes, maximum of five differet kinds, and they're all different, but in Pascucci the choices you have are almost as many as names of pasta shapes there are in Italian cuisine. (Of course that's a figure of speech). A signature is the Caffe Confuso Meringato ($33), an icy concoction of chocolate syrup, a cream called "confuso cream" (I'm as 'confused' at the name as it is for the staff there), espresso and sprinkles of meringues. It's a frozen dessert that tasted more chocolatey than coffee, and forget about the meringues, it reminded me of pearl sugar you use for baking and topping sable cookies of Santa Claus during Christmas. The drink may be cold, but far from frozen like many commercial chains, but it'll be just enough to quench the summer heat.

What would be a coffee joint without hot filtered Arabica coffee ($35 each)? With so many candy sweetness in the menu I am more inclined to think that Caffe Pascucci is a dessert place than a coffee joint. The choices are tempting, for instance like Coppa Del Padrino ($48) is an affogato look-alike, but with strawberries, espresso and yogurt mousse. I've had good affogato but being affogato with yogurt and strawberries all mixed up somehow messed up the entire chemistry of the ingredients. In fact I would prefer to have a desconstructed version of just yogurt, espresso and strawberries, if possible. There are selections of tea infusions including a rare (and tasted good) ROSA CANINA (rosehip tea $33). I wouldn't recommend the croissants, as plump and fresh as they look, they just don't look as promising as those offered in Le Salon in Central. If you're feeling more indulgent than usual you can always spend more on another icy desserts.

Don't forget to settle in one of the white seats chitchatting with your friends (like I did)...Visiting in crowds may do you some good reducing the hassle of choices. You can try different things all at once, and make sure you take a look at the sugar bowl, pictured here. It's quite neat to look at. The staff may look funny in an otherwise unfitting fast-food-chain uniform and a cap, they are quite knowledgable with the company and what's been selling well and what not.

I just may come again...perhaps next time in Wan Chai...
