Passed by and randomly entered for lunch. Ordered the full quesadilla for sharing and it turned out to be pretty good - crispy tortilla with chicken and melted cheese filling🧀 sadly they ran out of mixed beans that day and only had refried beans for the burrito🌯

I was initially very happy to have yet another Mexican restaurant in the neighbourhood and was particularly pleased that they offer corn tortillas and other Gluten Free options. Plus the interior space is nice and the staff are incredibly friendly.Before I move on, I should mention that I know a little something about Mexican food. 西環開既餐廳越來越多 各色其式今次試下依間連鎖餐廳原本和朋友的位置冷氣較強和男侍應哥哥提出後 他二話不說為我們轉枱態度十分良好之後點菜時我們再詢問他有沒有Happy Hour他耐心地在餐牌上指出所有的特價飲品非常細心食物賣相非常好 新鮮熱辣十分有風味炸魚薯條的炸魚鮮味十足又juicy 而玉米脆片和配料的配答十分夾好味呀!

這次終於約到幾個知己講講是非八卦，特意選擇在happy hour可以邊飲邊食同埋邊傾，所以選擇了在友人附近的Cali-mex bar and Grill。這餐牌滿滿都是墨西哥特色食品。墨西哥食品當然要食tacos 滿滿的餡料最上層是爽口的蔬菜，食的候令到整個tacos帶點清爽的感覺。炸魚薯條，飲酒必備小食。薯條香脆，魚柳肉質不是想像中軟稔，外皮酥脆，值得一試。Burrito都是來墨西哥餐廳必點之選，這次選擇牛肉，內裡充滿肉汁香草味濃，非常有墨西哥風味。

用了某apps臨時訂枱，6點半都趕到7點鐘的65折優惠，實在太抵了有折覺得咩都好抵!先來一個mac & cheese，好細碟呀。。。但好好味呀! 拉絲的芝士，白雪雪的汁掛晒喺啲通粉度，真係好好味Burrito加了10蚊選Angus Steak，都有唔少牛肉佈滿成個burrito，入面有飯，黑豆，生菜，蕃茄等等，好大舊好飽。。。味道都係意料之內的。又一個驚喜之選，平時成日叫nachos，今次見可以選fries喎，一於試吓!配埋pulled pork好夾好正呀! 好味的guacamole 同sour cream，仲有好多芝士!不過太大盆了，食唔晒

Went there for lunch using an app discount. My friend and I were the only guests there for most of the time until towards the end of our meal. Music was loud so we asked for it to be turned down which the waiter did but 5 mins later it was turned up by someone else to an even louder volume. 目前為止接觸過的典型墨西哥菜均很合口味，然而總是太易太快飽肚和熱氣 不久前在中環用過墨西哥加美式早午餐，隨即就要到附近涼茶舖大灌苦茶 與墨西哥菜打交道得要做好事前準備及善後工作，每每叫我遲疑卻步 最近有聞Cali-mex換新形象，菜式更多元，引為契機，拋開顧慮，大快朵頤 大手灑上芝士覆面再焗，Chilli con Carne Nachos是為重口味類型的蘸醬選擇 辣肉醬未會連帶過多脂肪，吃起來有微彈肉碎嚼感，又不會太過肥膩滯胃 手拿乾爽不油的墨西哥脆片，趁熱一蘸肉醬，略為牽絲，香口惹味 Fish Tacos甫登場已教各人垂涎不已，為的正正是其繽紛豐盛的夾餡 魚肉仍然帶嫩不韌，亦未有過重的雪藏味或腥意，調味合宜適度 配各式醬汁及清爽蔬果，與薄脆粟米餅皮頓成對比，香口，而且一點不滯 吃墨西哥菜少不了Barbacoa Beef Quesadillas（Half），可謂必選的滋味 對比起一般Taco及Nacho外顯的大堆頭，Quesadillas則來得內斂，深藏不露 薄餅皮夾入大量芝士及手撕牛肉，其貌不揚，但入口盡是微融鹹香 餅皮沒有被餡料浸濕，食時乾爽不見膩，然而沒有多少人懂得欣賞低

行過路過 .... 感覺很久沒有到 Cali-Mex 吃過美式的墨西哥菜式 , 於是便入內幫襯 ~Menu ~飲杯 cocktail 輕鬆一下 , Jalapeno Con Limon $ 88 : 此 cocktail 乃是以 Tequila 和鮮檸檬為主調 , 再加上糖漿和掛上 Jalapeno 辣椒 , 味道既刺激又可口 ~Spinach and Artichoke Dip $ 78 : 菠菜、亞枝竹 , 乃是我極喜愛的食物 , 用 菠菜、亞枝竹、parmesen 二合一煮出來的 dip sauce , 用香脆可口的玉米片沾來吃 , 味道精妙 , 實在好吃得難以形容 , 而且滿有風味 ~Grilled Ribeye ( 10 oz ) 美國肉眼牛扒 $ 208 : 賣相不俗 , 我們點的是 medium , 牛肉的外層有焦香 , 肉味濃香 , 肉質鮮嫩細緻 , 豐腴甘香, 調味得宜 , 是一件高質又好吃的肉眼扒 ~ 總括來說 : 服務態度良好, 食物質素高 , 性價比高 ~本篇完 ~  

An okay place to go for burritos, nachos, tacos, etc. My personal favourite is quesadilla with guacamole, sour cream and tomato. A bit pricey for the quality and serving size. The staff were not aware when customers are calling their attention; we had to stand and go to the cashier (or where the staff are all standing) just to say what we want (like getting the bill).FYI, they now changed the name of this store in Kennedy Town from Cali-Mex Taqueria to Cali-Mex Bar and Grill.

read the reviews from others n wad hestitation to try it. but was pleasently surprised with their chicken burrito lunch set. large portion, good taste, fast service, noce environment, reasonable price. will come back

I've dropped by this place a few times and, all things considered, delivery seems a better way to enjoy the food here, as the actual place is no-frills and can be noisy.  There are limited options for Mexican food around Kennedy Town, so I think this place is perfectly decent for what it is--Mexican-American fast food, the kind you find in every strip mall in southern California.   So the name Cali-Mex is super apt.My favorite is the beef burrito--it's juicy, meaty, full of flavor and feeds two

Ordered a salad - Fillings were seriously half portion for the price of HK$100 and lettus / bradcombs / overbaked bacon that was couple hours hold - these guys really don't care about quality nor quantity - which makes this place the worst. Thought something would change after renovation but you will have to change staff to people who care about giving customers good experience. Horrible place to go to.
