This was my second visit since a few years ago, it was more enjoyable because I was prepared for the noisy atmosphere.

Chose the satay with garlic rice and the tumeric rice with sliced omelette and crispy shallot, served with deep fried chicken wing, spicy beef, roasted peanuts with salted fishes, tofu, beans, hard boiled egg with chilli paste, the lemon tea was bottomless, and for the other set I ordered a soup.

For the satay set, it was nutritionally balanced, rice, vegetables and meat, however the vegetables were slightly too old and chewy.

For the satay set, the garlic rice and vegetables were slightly too oily, but overall the food wasnt as oily as Mang Abos even I didnt order the truly flipino dishes.

There was watermelon included as well, as for the soup, it was wintermelon soup, with a piece of chicken feet.

十一月四日 (星期四)三週年快樂!正值上班日子,沒有吃什麼午餐來特別慶祝呢加上是日和朋友到灣仔的旅行社買台北之旅的package就順便試試附近的食店老公仔search到這間菲律賓菜館坦白說,對這地方的菜色不太清楚,最初還有點擔心選擇不到想吃的食物原來是有海南雞飯和喇沙等,適合我們的口味-但是這些是菲律賓菜嗎!!!!!老公仔先訂了位,叫店員留定海南雞脾-看他有多為食呢!!!店子都算多人,我們坐的是卡位,上菜速度頗快海南雞脾飯可能是雞脾的關係,雞肉特別的嫰滑,吃起來不似冰鮮雞皮下只有少量肥膏油飯味道濃,配上海南雞的三色醬一流比市面貴一點也會覺得值回票價札肉喇沙喇沙湯底的椰汁味比較濃而且我覺得偏辣喇沙來說是中規中舉檸檬茶無限添飲可惜茶味較淡服務員會自動自覺走過來添加,很好的服務呢

三週年快樂!
正值上班日子,沒有吃什麼午餐來特別慶祝呢
加上是日和朋友到灣仔的旅行社買台北之旅的package
就順便試試附近的食店
老公仔search到這間菲律賓菜館
坦白說,對這地方的菜色不太清楚,最初還有點擔心選擇不到想吃的食物
原來是有海南雞飯和喇沙等,適合我們的口味-但是這些是菲律賓菜嗎!!!!!


老公仔先訂了位,叫店員留定海南雞脾-看他有多為食呢!!!

The crispy pata was crispy and not very oily. The two sauces, vinegar and sweet liver made the dish that much more enjoyable. The crispy pata also came with raw onion rings which were a refreshing treat ( if your an onion person like me ). The fried squid was also yummy. Tender, not over cooked with just the right amount of season. We also ordered the Philippine sour fish soup. Very lemony and fishy, not very many spices unlike a tom yum but it was nice to have something soupy to go with the fried food. This Indonesian yellow rice lunch set is one of those things I must order.
I've been to this place many times, planning to order its other yummy treats, but in the end, I couldn't. It's always the yellow rice set.

Yummy Indonesian yellow rice topped with sliced omelette and crispy shallot, served with deep fried chicken wing, spiced beef, roasted peanuts with salted fish, curry veggie, telor balado (hard boiled egg with chilli paste), extra curry sauce on the side. The drink is bottomless and you get dessert as well (refreshing sliced watermelon for today).

The set sent me straight to food heaven.

My friend ordered garlic rice set, with pickled veggie, chicken ala king, spiced beef, sauteed vegetables, served with soup of the day (winter melon and carrot soup) and sliced watermelon. Everything on the plate was lovely and tasty!

The lady owner is Indonesian and she still remembers me, although I haven't been there for more than a year! I felt so touched
things like this rarely happen in Hong Kong...at least not for me.

Don't forget to make a booking if you're going at lunch time, the place is almost always packed.

Paella: 菲律賓式西班牙海鮮飯? 有蝦, 青口, 魷魚, 蛋, 青豆粟米紅蘿蔔粒之類的(雪)雜菜, 但就無我最唔鍾意的 paprika, 真好
蝦 size 係大, 但新鮮度一般; 青口及魷魚就無乜味道; 最好食係 d 飯, 乾身又好香, 唔錯唔錯.

在座有人海鮮敏感唔食得 paella, 所以亦叫了一盤 garlic rice: 頗黏, 頗濕, 亦唔多 "garlic", 不過味道幾似平日食海南雞 d「油飯」, 係幾好食的.

炸豬腩肉: 無乜醃過就咁炸, 皮極脆, 瘦肉有點嚡, 但食落鬆化, 肥就入口即溶, 好食. 不過就咁食有少少寡, 蘸點酸汁較好.

椰汁芋頭葉: 一 pat 墨綠色嘢的, 賣相認真麻麻... 芋頭葉切成絲, 有點似雪菜, d 汁除咗椰奶味之外仲有少少辣及咖喱 feel, 味道幾得意, 送飯亦不錯.

Dinuguan 豬紅汁豬雜: 一 pat 黑漆漆, 賣相比芋頭葉更嚇人... 黑色的係豬血汁,「豬雜」就其實食咗都唔知係乜, 因為已溶溶爛爛的混了入豬血汁內. 味道其實唔算好濃鮮, 個人而言對呢味印象一般.

Kare-kare 牛雜: 有牛肚, 牛尾, 牛腩及多款蔬菜, 個汁 creamy 杰身, 甜甜哋, 帶點花生味; 亦可蘸點 on the side 的蝦醬食, 送飯唔錯.

茄子煎蛋: 細個時屋企傭人整過, 印象中茄子係壓扁了, 蛋又煎得乾身香口的, 但呢度的脹卜卜, 濕濕的又軟撻撻, 唔多啱食.

蝦醬豬腩肉: 主要食蝦醬陣味, 惹味, 好鹹, 又一送飯菜.

食了咁多飯已好飽, 甜品 9 人 只叫了 4 杯 Halo-halo: 據聞呢度的唔正宗, 因為只係雜果 + 椰果 + 椰奶刨冰, 甜豆反而無乜落, 面頭仲加了舊貌似鹵水豆腐 (!) 的 leche flan (i.e. 菲律賓式 "creme caramel")... 將底下的拌勻, 其實同椰汁沙冰無異; 本身好鍾意食蛋造的甜品, 面頭的 leche flan 反而啱晒我, 夠「蛋」夠甜, 好食


呢度係酒吧餐廳格局, 燈光昏暗, 1.8 兼最高 ISO 都唔多掂
我哋又太早嚟, 食完走人 live band 仲未到, 可惜.

埋單好似每人約 $160, 多謝 E

同事要的串燒沙嗲, 一碟有三串, 三種肉配搭, 雞 牛 豬 每樣一串, 香氣四溢的. 試了一口其沙嗲汁, 充滿花生味的香口感覺, 上次食到一個比例靚既沙嗲, 不是commercial出品, 而是馬來西亞 (華僑) 同學的Home made沙嗲. 這裡應由正宗馬拉人師傅主理, 看得出這兒的馬來菜比起其他的餐廳, 特別得多.

蒜香飯: 見有個葷味飯, 當然要試試, 始終白飯太單調, 有選擇的話當然要前者. 飯加了蒜香, 比得起雞油飯, 而且亦沒有雞油飯咁"漏", 不過食完, 口氣相當的大, 建議不要同情人接吻.

難得的正宗南洋菜, 下次有機會再訪, 試試其他國家菜式. $55 沒有加一, 又唔駛排大隊, 是一個不錯的選擇.

You can choose either having soft drinks or soup. The soup wasnt normal Chinese soup, but it was a tomato with vegetable soup. Rather a imaginative fusion item to go with the chicken rice.

The set meal was only $59, reasonable price.

There were so many choices, I didnt know what to order, ranging from Philipino, Indonesian to Sing Malay.

So I ordered the Nasi Pandeng, a mixture of Pendang chicken, Rendang beef and rice.
When it came, the rice was in the middle of the plate surrounded by a wide variety of sides and the mains. It contained peanuts and anchovies, coconut flat green beans, tofu, Rendang beef, pendang chicken (drumstick).

The set included a pudding, and drink all for $60.

Everything was great, but I would prefer nicer plates, to get rid of that feeling of eating in a HK style cafe.

很可怕吧? 我又來了,真的很膩哦。今次點了雞絲湯米($48) 好大碗,雞絲味道不及扎肉。新發現,之前一直沒看到,原來飲品是可以叫餐湯的。這天是粟米湯,其實像極了平日喝的粟米魚肚羹走魚肚,哈哈!
