Signature Dishes
Randomly stopped by a restaurant in Central in a rainy day and unexpectedly had Argentine cuisine here 🤩love the food and drinks😉 and enjoyed so much of the hospitality hereTasting Notes:Starter Bread Served with Barbecued Garlic, Butter and ChimichurriFirst thing first, starter bread was extremely thoughtful! And I didn’t expect the starter bread to be that delicious (soft and moist inside and the crumb was a bit chewy) and complemented with 3 types of sauces😲barbecued garlic paste was unbeatable; butter was mixed with herbs😋chimichurri was appetizing🥰saved it for the following dishes🤣Pan Seared Sea BassWith its meaty and tender texture, sea bass was simply tasty with pan searing and few drops of lemon juice🤤and i liked the sautéed vegetables too!Arugula Salad with Rib EyePlenty of fresh rocket🥗balsamic dressing enhanced the freshness of the salad. My fd said the rib eye tasted so good and would like to visit El Gaucho again with beef eaters🤣 so that he could try Steak here🤣Baked Potato with Sour Cream and BaconIt tasted good but i was too full to enjoy it😅P.S. My friend and i ordered half-pint beer🍺, a glass of mojito🍹 & red wine 🍷& white wine here. After we paid the bill, the waitress gave us 2 shots of bailey mixed vodka🥃. I told her how much I loved that shot then she generously gave me another shot🤤🥃❤️

I try so many steakhouse around the world and my friend told me to try this place. Me and my wife had dinner to try the steak. We had tomahawk with the special price and it was beyond my expectation and cook to perfection. They had many food choices from salad, pastas, lamb, fish and pork. Service was exceptional. This place is a MUST.

Just came here today to try their steak. It was horrible… our ribeyes were ordered medium rare (on their recommendation) and it came medium-well. We also had to ask for water before it’s given. There was a huge cockroach crawling on the wall right beside our table as the steak arrived. We were asked to change our tables. No apologies given. The food here is overall average and overpriced. Though the staff were pretty friendly, it simply falls short.

Overall Food quality was good, little bits that can be improved (like giving 3 pieces of bread when we have 2 people, and) but the marketing of the restaurant is not very well done...there is no longer a special lunch menu as there's a promotion for 50% off all steak (but what if I didn't want steak?) and so I ended up paying more than what I would have expected for a lunch set ( which includes starter / main / sides) , I was annoyed with the arrangement. There are plenty of good steakhouse in central with great value lunch sets, I would not recommend going to Gaucho for lunch should this continues. For dinner, this arrangement would have made sense.

Tried restaurant week dinner menu - overall, just average The highlight would be the bread basket coming with barbecued garlic 🧄 bread was soft and baked perfectly Starter - beetroot salad with rocket, cheese, and smashed pecan I ordered sea bass for main course, overcooked and disappointing though it was indeed a large portion Dessert - hot chocolate cake with ice cream. I bet it never goes wrong ?Noticed the restaurant is still doing some promotion - perhaps the beef worth a try
