I was quite confused when I got there, since the restaurant is located on the second floor. There are two ways to enter this restaurant, easy one: going up from the bar “Tipping Point” or complicated one: going up from the building next to Tipping Point. I have tried the complicated way, that’s why I highly suggest you to just go up from Tipping Point. It is rather quiet on a Saturday night, perhaps not much people have aware of this new restaurant. There aren’t much choices, all the dishes are printed on the first page. My boyfriend and I started with the soup, Caramelized Cauliflower Soup. I am surprise there are some rare soup choices rather than just the normal mushroom cream soup, borsch, etc. You can’t really taste the sweet caramel flavor, nevertheless the light and herbal flavor is appealing. They have blended the cauliflower into smaller pieces and added some chopped hazelnut, therefore the soup carries two kinds of crunchiness.

Not long after the soup, first main course - Risotto ai fungi, Porcini has arrived the table. It smells pretty cheesy and I can’t wait to try it! The risotto is cooked perfectly, slightly chewy and not hard. I am sure they have poured lots of cheese in this risotto, since the cheese flavor is even stronger than the porcini. It tastes really good, yet it is heavy to finish it as well.

The second main course is US Prime Angus Ribeye, which is recommended by the server. I am a bit worry as they didn’t ask us “How would you like your steak to be cooked?” , this sort of reflect whether this is a good place for steak or not. Compare to the soup and risotto, the steak is disappointing. It is close to well-done, thus the texture is rough and chewy. The steak is sided with mashed potato and some grilled zucchini, the sides are not bad.

And of course, end the meal with the meal with the Peppermint Chocolate Fondant. Cut the fondant gently, then the dark chocolate will slip out. The rich chocolate flavour is not sweetness overload and I love it! Besides than the fondant, there are some gingerbread cookies on the side. The gingerbread stack is coated with cinnamon powder and the taste is quite festively.

As I work nearby, I went to try the set lunch which was at a pretty reasonable price. I tried the beef ragu, it was like a perfect italian pasta, it was a 2 course set lunch so I had a choice of salad or soup. I went in for the soup of the day, that day it was a roasted cauliflower soup and I absolutely loved how delicious it was. It tasted very earthy and fresh. There was also free drinks included such as ice-leamon tea, coffee, tea or soft drinks. I didnt have coffee that morning so I asked my

I didnt have coffee that morning so I asked my coffee to be served after the food. I thought it was just going to be an instant coffee but they have a freshly brewing coffee machine and the coffee tasted really good, it was so smooth and smelled great.
Other Info. : definitely will bring my girlfriend next time as we both work nearby.

I went here with my friends for drinks on Saturday.  There was showing final rugby show. I thought I could easily find a seat for us 4 friends but it was fully crowded. Luckily there was this waiter named Danny, he arranged a seat for us in the bar area.  And we also ordered some food while we were watching and enjoying the final rugby show. Definitely a place for large groups or small groups. Food and service was very good. Thank you Fera team!

We had an amazing staff party at FERA last week. They have a separate menu of 3 course or 4 course. We went with the 3 course which included any starter, a main dish and a Fera's special home made chocolate mousse dessert, I think there was another one as well but I forgot the name. My friend had it and said it was super delicious. I think it was a pudding. Thank you Fera team for awesome food and service.

Walked past this newly opened cosy looking restaurant after yoga earlier this week and found their lunch menu looking good, so I decided to give it a try today... The menu's the same as the one I saw when I walked past on Tuesday --- a selection of pasta (from the classic Carbonara, the vegetarian option Tomato basil cherry to the meat lover's no-brainer Sausage and beef ragu), Risotto ai fungi porcini and pan-fried Salmon & pesto veggies. A two-course lunch with drinks included from HK$88 - 110.

My friend went for the Soup and I had the Salad.

He liked the Cauliflower Soup packed with "grains" of cauliflower, which wasn't overly creamy. It was light enough to be enjoyed on a super hot day like this.

The "all fera" Salad --- a bed of mixed salad topped with grilled zucchini, grilled eggplants, shaved cheese, chia seeds, in pommery honey dressing.

A decent portion for the price of this lunch deal, sprinkled with chia seeds to give them the extra crunchiness, in an apt amount of dressing (hmmm but where's the cheese...?). Pretty fresh Romaine, not the freshest rocket, but I'm happy with this considering the price and location.

The pan-fried Salmon was cooked and seasoned on point. Juicy and not overly oily. Pesto was quite nice and not overpowering.

Generous portion for a HK$110 two course lunch in Central / Soho.

Only wishing the broccoli could be lightly seasoned as well. There was a bit of an imbalance compared to the salmon and baby potatoes (which were "shining in oil") --- the broccoli was boiled and unseasoned. As a health conscious foodie I always cook my veggie pretty plainly, but this tasted a bit too plain even for me. I'd say they could be easily touched up by a toss of extra-virgin olive oil.

And of course, an iced-lemon tea for a melting hot day like this.

All in all, this was one great lunch deal in the heart of Central/Soho. I look forward to trying a new lunch menu at Fera next time  (and hope coffee will be served at my next visit after this soft opening!)

p.s. No service charge for lunch but we tipped according to service. Wishing you guys a smooth soft opening --- Keep it up!
